Chargers Vs. 49ers (11/13/22) Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay + SGP Picks
We’re onto Week 10 of the NFL season, and we have an exciting West Coast Sunday Night Football matchup on deck between the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers. Both teams are fighting for playoff positioning in their respective conferences, and this will be a pivotal game in determining the outcome of their seasons.
In this article, I’ll construct a Same Game Parlay to provide some betting value to this Sunday night game. We’re looking for player props and game props that make sense in conjunction with one another as correlation is king for SGPs. Let’s get into some options for this Chargers vs. 49ers game.

NFL Week 10 Sunday Night Football Same Game Parlay – Chargers Vs. 49ers
I like the 49ers to win this game, but I’m not highly confident in taking them at their current 7.5-point spread. Instead, I’ll buy their spread down to 6.5 point for a bit more security. You can get that line at -146 odds on FanDuel. As I’ll get into shortly, the 49ers are the healthier team coming off their bye week, and they have specific matchup advantages that they can exploit this week.
In addition to the 49ers winning this game, I love the under here. For this SGP, let’s take an alternate line on the under for a bit of an added safety cushion. You can get the under 48.5 points at -180 odds on FanDuel. 48 is a key number in NFL totals, and we’re locking in that total here as part of our SGP.
For our first player prop, let’s take Christian McCaffrey over 82.5 rushing yards. This line has been ticking up throughout the week. McCaffrey got 26 touches in the game against the Rams before the Niners’ bye week, and while I don’t believe they want to give him that many touches every week, they might have to after they traded away Jeff Wilson. Until Elijah Mitchell returns, the depth behind him isn’t great.
CMC faces a Chargers defense that hasn’t improved against the run this year as they still surrender 5.7 YPC, the most in the NFL. If McCaffrey gets 18 carries and performs like an average running back that the Chargers have faced this year, he’ll surpass this line with no problems. The juice on CMC’s touchdown prop is heavy, but given this is an SGP, we can include it without needing to overpay for the juice.
Finally, I’m taking the under on Justin Herbert’s passing yards in this game. With Mike Williams and Keenan Allen out, the passing weapons have deteriorated in the Chargers offense, and Herbert has suffered as a result. He’s been under his passing yardage prop in three of his last four games, including last week when he finished with just 245 passing yards against the Falcons who rank 29th in pass defense DVOA and were dealing with injuries in the secondary.
This week, Herbert faces the 49ers who have allowed just 183.9 passing yards per game outside of their game against Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs’ quarterback is one of just two who has beaten their passing yardage prop against San Francisco this season, and while there might be garbage time in this game, Herbert doesn’t have the offensive infrastructure to take advantage of that possibility.
Put it all together, and we have a potentially great SGP to work with:
- San Francisco 49ers -6.5 (-146)
- Under 48.5 Total Points (-180)
- Christian McCaffrey Over 82.5 Rushing Yards (-113)
- Christian McCaffrey Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-200)
- Justin Herbert Under 252.5 Passing Yards (-113)
Full SGP Odds: +790 ($10 wins $79.06)
