Chicago Bears vs. Atlanta Falcons Player Prop Picks
The Chicago Bears visit the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Bears are coming off a very close loss last week, while the Falcons also lost in a relatively close game too. This should be an interesting matchup because both teams need to rebound after their losses. Let’s take a look at some prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.
Marcus Mariota Over 0.5 Passing Touchdowns
Marcus Mariota has been serviceable for the Falcons this year. There’s an argument to be made that Mariota has been holding back the Falcons offensively, but he’s their starter for now. He has 1,747 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, seven interceptions, and he has a 62% completion percentage on the year. Mariota has hit over this number in seven of the 10 games that the Falcons have played in. Chicago allows 213 passing yards a game which will be difficult for Mariota. The biggest reason to like this bet is because of how much the Falcons use the ground game, the play action pass is going to be a huge weapon to use, and should be the biggest reason this bet hits.
Justin Fields Over 69.5 Rushing Yards
Justin Fields has been incredible for the Bears. Fields looked lost to begin the season, but has come on strong recently, and has even broken records recently with the ground game. He has 1,489 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, seven interceptions, and he has a 59% completion percentage on the year just passing. He also has 104 carries, 749 rushing yards, and six rushing touchdowns on the year. He’s also hit over this number in four of the 10 games that the Bears have played in. He’s also on a hot streak because he hit over that number in four of the past five games that the Bears have played in. The Falcons allow 119 rushing yards a game, which is good for Fields. Take this bet because the Bears have finally figured out how to use Fields and it won’t slow down against Atlanta.
Cordarrelle Patterson Over 44.5 Rushing Yards
Patterson has been great these last few weeks since he came back from injury. He has 76 carries, 406 rushing yards, and five rushing touchdowns on the year. The bad news is that he’s only hit over this number in two of the six games that he’s played in. The good news is that his usage should be at the highest it’s been since before he got injured. The other factor going for Patterson here is that Chicago is not that good against the run. They allow 142 rushing yards a game, which should favor Patterson a lot here. The Atlanta offense is very run-oriented, so the volume of touches should be there for him to hit this over. Take this bet because of all these factors, Patterson should be one of the safer bets this weekend to hit his over.
