Cincinnati Bengals vs. New York Jets Player Prop Picks

The Cincinnati Bengals visit the New York Jets in Week 3 of the 2022-23 NFL season. The Jets beat the Bengals last season in New York 34-31. This rematch should be a very interesting matchup. Let’s take a look at some player prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.

Joe Burrow Over 265.5 Passing Yards

The Bengals haven’t looked great so far this year, and seem to have a bit of a Super Bowl hangover to start the year. The Jets have looked decent, but this seems like a prime spot for the Bengals to bounce back and get their first win. The Bengals’ keys to winning starts and ends with Joe Burrow having a good game. The Jets’ defense has not been great this year too. This just seems like a great spot for Burrow to have a great game, and I expect the Bengals to pass it early and often to get the passing game in a good rhythm, so expect the receivers to have good games too, especially Ja’Marr Chase. I love this bet, and it might be my favorite of the whole weekend.

Garrett Wilson Over 44.5 Receiving Yards

Wilson has been catching fire recently, especially after catching the game-winning touchdown last weekend. The Bengals’ defense has played well to start the year too, but Wilson is going to be tough to cover. With Joe Flacco leading the charge for the Jets, they’ve been a more fun team than people originally thought, culminating in last week’s crazy comeback. After catching last week’s game-winner, Wilson has cemented himself as the go-to receiver already for the Jets. Expect the Jets to get him involved early and often in this game, and he could hit this number based off the number of targets alone. This bet seems a little underrated, but I really like it here, and I like Wilson to continue to have a great season for the Jets too.

Ja’Marr Chase Over 74.5 Receiving Yards

Chase has cemented himself as one of the best receivers in the NFL already in his young career. He has such a good rapport with Joe Burrow and he’s a big-play threat whenever he touches the ball. The yards here might seem like a high number, but it just feels bad to bet against Chase, especially in a spot like this where the Bengals need a win. Chase is also the focal point of the Bengals offense, so based on how many targets he’ll see he could get this number pretty easily. The Jets defense has not been bad so far, but Chase just seems like a completely different receiver than what they have played so far. This is a very easy bet to make regardless of how high the yardage number is. Take Chase to rebound after an okay game against Dallas, this just feels like a big rebound spot for Cincinnati as a whole.
