College Football Free Betting Picks: Four Best Bets (Florida Is a Lock this Saturday)

Another great Saturday of college football is here! The Pac-12 is back, along with great matchups from all conferences. Today we will see the game of the year between Clemson and Notre Dame even with Trevor Lawrence unable to play due to COVID. Here are this week’s best free betting picks!

West Virginia @ Texas (-5.5) O/U 55.5

After upsetting Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Texas returns home for a date with West Virginia. The Mountaineers are coming off an impressive win over Kansas State and will continue the winning ways. The Longhorns could be sleeping in this matchup after the huge upset last week.

Texas was outgained by nearly 300 yards against Oklahoma State. They scored over 40 points with less than 300 yards of total offense, not a recipe for success. West Virginia has just as good of a defense as Oklahoma State does and will slow down the Longhorns offense.

West Virginia +5.5

The sleepy spot makes me confident that West Virginia can hang around in Austin this Saturday. The Mountaineers turn the program back around, and back to back wins over ranked opponents would help tremendously. Look for West Virginia to be a live dog today.

Florida vs. Georgia (-3) O/U 54.5

Florida and Georgia matchup in the World’s Largest Cocktail Party in Jacksonville. Both teams will be looking to take the lead in the SEC East, as the winner of this game is in the driver seat to head to Atlanta for the SEC Championship Game.

A historically defensive dominated matchup, the offense will shine bright this afternoon. Florida has one of the best offenses in College Football and will be looking to put up points on a Georgia defense that struggled to stop Alabama. On the other hand, Georgia should be able to gash the Flordia defensive line on the ground and keep moving the football in a ground and pound style.

Florida should be able to outlast Georgia on a neutral site this Saturday.

Florida +3

The Gators offense will be too much for Georgia to stop. The only fear is that Florida’s defense this year is pretty bad, and Georgia will be able to put up points of their own.

Over 54.5
Speaking of points, expect a lot of them today in Jacksonville. Both offenses can move the football and should be able to put up at least 28 points each.

Clemson (-5.5) @ Notre Dame O/U 50

Arguably the game of the year will be going down in South Bend today. Clemson heads to Notre Dame to take on the Fighting Irish without quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

This game becomes more interesting with Lawrence out, as Notre Dame should slow down the Tigers offense. However, D.J. Uiagalelei was a five-star recruit that will be filling the role, so there is a chance his talent comes through. Clemson should also be able to slowdown Ian Book and the Notre Dame offense. The Irish have talent on that side but have not shown they can string things together offensively.

Clemson -5.5
clemson tigers
Clemson received a scare last Saturday with Boston College, and without Lawrence, the money should be coming in on Notre Dame. Clemson is still far and away better than Notre Dame even without Lawrence at quarterback. The Tigers could start slow, but this feels like a game that Clemson will always feel in control of, no matter the score.

I fell in love with handicapping right away. Sports betting is a lot more enjoyable when going through advanced data to find an edge on a Vegas line. Situational plays is a focus of mine and study stats and data analytics to go along with certain situations to make myself a more well rounded capper. College football and college basketball are my favorite to bet.
