Cowboys Vs. Giants (9/26/22) Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay Strategy + Picks

Week 3 of the NFL season is here and we have you covered with everything you need to know for the Monday Night Football showdown between the divisional rivals Giants and Cowboys. While Dak Prescott isn’t playing on Monday night, the Giants are 2-0 to start the year under new head coach Brian Daboll, and Dallas will be hoping to end their strong start to the season. You can check out our game preview and player props article for more content on this primetime game.

This article will focus on building a Same Game Parlay (SGP) for this game involving a few player props and game outcomes. SGPs allow you to combine wagers across different player and game props for a larger payout on your bet. As always, we’re looking for correlation here, as we want outcomes that are likely to happen together. Let’s dive in.

Cowboys Vs. Giants NFL Week 3 Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay

The Cowboys ran the ball at a 46% rate with a positive or neutral game script, and they will likely continue to be a conservative offense this week to protect Cooper Rush. Ezekiel Elliott remains the preferred back for Dallas with 25 carries for 105 yards through two weeks, and I expect him to get a heavy workload again this week.

The Giants rank bottom ten in both success rate and EPA per play against the run, making this a great matchup for Elliott to exploit. I’ll take his rushing yards at over 58.5 yards, which you can get on FanDuel. In addition, I’ll take him at +150 odds to score a touchdown. He has yet to hit paydirt this season, but he’ll be the preferred option in the red zone.

In addition, I’m expecting the Cowboys to generate a ton of pressure in this game. Micah Parsons is one of the best pass-rushers in the game, and the Giants are allowing pressure on 53% of non-blitz dropbacks, the highest rate in the NFL. Saquon Barkley has seen 11 of the team’s 53 targets, and he will be heavily involved in the passing game again on Monday night.

I’ll take his receiving yardage over 23.5 on FanDuel for our SGP. He went over that number in Week 1, but not in Week 2. However, the Cowboys will put more pressure on Jones than the Panthers were able to last week, and that will result in more short-area passing targets for Barkley. With the Giants’ limited pass-catching corps overall, Barkley will be a vital part of the offense through the receiving game.

Finally, I’m adding the Cowboys’ Moneyline to this SGP. I like Dallas to win this game thanks to their heavy pass-rushing defense and highly efficient offense. The Giants have the worst DVOA of any 2-0 team since 2016, and they are likely to regress to the mean of performance sooner rather than later.

With all of these bets put together, we are left with the following SGP:

  • Dallas Cowboys Moneyline (-102)
  • Ezekiel Elliott Over 58.5 Rushing yards (-114)
  • Ezekiel Elliott Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+150)
  • Saquon Barkley Over 23.5 Receiving Yards (-114)

Full SGP Odds: +778 ($10 wins $77.80)
