The Dallas Cowboys have performed much better than many expected so far this season. The team is 5-1 right now and riding a 5-0 winning streak since narrowly losing to the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. However, with quarterback Dak Prescott a game-time decision this week, many are questioning how functional the team can be on offense. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings are currently 3-3 and coming off a bye week. The Vikings are riding a 2-0 winning streak and will need to stay competitive to fight for a playoff spot in a crowded NFC. Here are a few player props you should take a look at when the Cowboys face off against the Vikings on Sunday Night Football.

Kirk Cousins Over 285.5 Passing Yards

Kirk Cousins gets his fair share of criticism, but he’s been putting together a productive season. He’s completing 69.5% of his passes and has only two picks on the year compared to 13 TDs. Plus, he’s got no shortage of capable receivers with Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson, and K.J. Osborn. Having a healthy Dalvin Cook should prove helpful this week against the Cowboys. It doesn’t hurt that the Dallas defense has not been productive against the passing game, allowing 295 yards per game. When Cousins and crew get going, they’re not easy to slow down.

Kirk Cousins Over 2.5 Passing TDs

This one is more of a value play for me. Cousins has been getting the ball into the end zone this season, having three games with three touchdowns so far. He’ll be airing it out consistently against the Dallas defense, especially if Dak Prescott ends up playing. If Prescott starts, I could see this being a full-on shootout. This prop is +155 on DraftKings Sportsbook right now, so I’d say it’s definitely worth a look.

Ezekiel Elliott Over 73.5 Rushing Yards

Weeks ago, I was ready to give up on Ezekiel Elliott for the season. However, the running back has proven me wrong since then. He’s been averaging 104 yards in his past four matchups, and the Cowboys are going to need him to fire on all cylinders Sunday night. Even if Prescott ends up playing, I’d put my money on Dallas to run the rock often to keep the pressure off the banged-up QB. The Minnesota defense has trouble against the run, allowing 128 yards on the ground per game, so Zeke should have a field day against that front. In addition, I’d take a look at a few Tony Pollard props, as I expect the team to use both backs against the Vikings.

Ezekiel Elliot First TD Scorer

As long as the team is leaning on Elliott, I expect him to find the end zone. The talented running back has scored five times on the ground this season, adding a receiving TD as well. The Vikings are going to have trouble with him all day, and I wouldn’t be too surprised if he ripped a big run into the end zone early. This prop is currently +650 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
