Denver Broncos vs. Dallas Cowboys Player Props (11/7/21)
Contents
The Denver Broncos got a much-needed win last Sunday over the Washington Football Team. Now they need to keep up this momentum if they want any chance at returning to the playoffs for the first time since Peyton Manning hoisted the Lombardi Trophy. However, after trading away star linebacker Von Miller, that might be easier said than done. The Dallas Cowboys just majorly surprised fans on national TV with a win over the Minnesota Vikings on the shoulders of backup quarterback Cooper Rush. Sitting at 6-1 on the season, this Dallas Cowboys squad is primed to compete. With the Broncos heading to Jerry World this Sunday, let’s take a look at some of the player props you should consider wagering on.
Dak Prescott Under 277.5 Passing Yards
The Cowboys didn’t miss a beat in Dak Prescott’s absence on Sunday night, as Cooper Rush led the team to an unexpected win in primetime. Now, Prescott’s back from injury and ready to continue his Comeback Player of the Year campaign. However, he’s not going to be 100%, and he’s facing a defense that’s capable of holding off opposing QBs. The Broncos are allowing just 224.9 passing yards per game and should be able to stop a recovering Prescott when needed.
Teddy Bridgewater Over 0.5 Interceptions
I wasn’t big on the Teddy Bridgewater signing before the season got started, and the veteran hasn’t proven me wrong yet. The QB has been adequate, but you never get the feeling he’s capable of leading his team to a victory with his arm. Meanwhile, he’s facing a defense this week that gets turnovers. Dallas already has 11 picks on the year, and I don’t trust Bridgewater to keep it out of their hands ever since his three-pick performance against the Las Vegas Raiders. As long as Trevon Diggs is on the field, there’s a chance the ball will be intercepted.
Melvin Gordon III Over 40.5 Rushing Yards
I could make the case for either Melvin Gordon III or Javonte Williams to go over their rushing totals this week. However, I’m going with Gordon III this week due to his low total. The Denver runner has gone over 40 yards five times this season, including a 101-yard performance in Week 1. The Dallas Cowboys are capable of stopping the run, but the two-headed monster backfield for the Broncos should keep them on their toes. Go with Melvin Gordon III to go over his total this week.
Jerry Jeudy Anytime Scorer
Jerry Jeudy is coming back from injury, and I believe he’s going to put together a productive season. The receiver is looking decent in his two games back from injured reserve, hauling in ten catches for 111 yards. The Dallas defense is pretty weak against the pass, allowing 278.1 yards through the air every week. Jeudy should have an opportunity to find the end zone for the first time this season against the Cowboys. This prop is currently listed at +225 on DraftKings Sportsbook.
