Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears Player Prop Picks

The Detroit Lions visit the Chicago Bears in Week 10 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Lions are coming off a very close win last week, while the Bears are coming off a very close loss last week. This should be an interesting matchup for the pecking order of the NFC North. Let’s take a look at some prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.

Justin Fields Over 58.5 Rushing Yards

Justin Fields has transformed right in front of us this year from an okay quarterback at best, to someone that could be the future of the Bears franchise. He has 1,322 passing yards, 10 passing touchdowns, six interceptions, and he has a 59% completion percentage on the year. He also has 602 rushing yards, and four rushing touchdowns on 91 carries. He’s also hit over this number in four of the nine games that the Bears have played in. It was also the last four games in a row the Bears have played, which sets up well because he’s been consistent. The Lions are also very bad against the run and give up 149 yards on the ground. This is a great bet to take because of how much the Bears are using Fields on the ground and because of how bad the Lions are on the ground.

Jared Goff Over 235.5 Passing Yards

Jared Goff has had a pretty good year this year. He has 2,041 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns, seven interceptions, and he has a 63% completion percentage on the year. He’s also hit over this number in four of the eight games that the Lions have played in this year. His best game was against the Seahawks where he threw for 378 yards and four touchdowns. The Bears are decent against the pass and allow 210 passing yards a game which will be difficult for Goff. This game has the makings of a shootout, so take this bet because Goff is going to be asked to throw the ball a lot here. Goff has been better than most people would guess this year too.

Khalil Herbert Over 41.5 Rushing Yards

Khalil Herbert has been very good for the Bears in his role this year. He has 98 carries, 586 rushing yards, and four rushing touchdowns on the year. His best game was against the Texans when he ran for 157 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns on 20 carries. He came into the year as the backup to David Montgomery, but he’s forced the Bears to go with a split backfield because of how good he’s played. With the Lions allowing 149 rushing yards a game, Herbert has a chance to have a very big game here, even with him splitting carries with David Montgomery and Justin Fields too. This is a very good bet because the Lions rushing def
