DraftKings Sportsbook NFL Week 10 Best Bet
Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants
This week’s best bet comes out of the NFC East as the Philadelphia Eagles (3-4-1) take on the New York Giants (2-7) in what is now a big game in the NFC East race. The Eagles enter this game on a two-game winning streak after coming off of their bye week. The Giants got a big win last week against the Washington Football team that keeps their slim NFC East hopes alive.
The Eagles are leading the NFC East despite their 3-4-1 record. The reason for their sub .500 record has been Carson Wentz. Wentz leads the NFL in turnovers and has 12 interceptions to go along with just 12 passing touchdowns. The Eagles pass offense ranks just 27th while they have the 13th-best rush offense. They rank just 23rd in points scored per game.
For the Giants, their situation is the same. Quarterback Daniel Jones is having a turnover-filled season as well. He has nine interceptions to go along with just eight passing touchdowns. His team’s passing offense ranks even worse than the Eagles, coming in at 30th. They have the league’s second-lowest yards per game total, and they score the second-fewest points per game in the NFL.
With all of that information, the under should be a lock, right? Hold that thought. The Eagles are coming off of a bye week, giving them plenty of time to prep for this game and for Wentz to take some time to relax and collect himself. This is a game the Eagles should be able to hold onto the ball and finish drives, putting up points.
On the Giants’ side, a big divisional win last week is just what they needed to build some confidence going forward. This is essentially a must-win game for them, and they know it. The offense can get things done if Jones can just get enough time to make things happen. As bad as their numbers are, this offense is better than those numbers suggest. Both teams need this game, so expect both offenses to over-perform.
