DraftKings NFL Daily Fantasy Cash Game Picks Week 6

Quarterbacks

Ben Roethlisberger ($6,700) vs Browns- Big Ben is back and even though he doesn’t look as sharp as he did prior to his elbow injury, he is still a very good QB. He’s scored 20+ FPTS in 3 of the Steelers first 4 games and has limited the TOs with 10 TDs and only 1 INT on the season. With the emergence of Chase Claypool last week it looks like he should have a full supply of weapons vs a Browns defense that is average at best. Look for Ben to have another solid game at home this Sunday.

Ryan Tannehill ($5,900) vs Texans- The Titans are a run first team but that doesn’t mean that Ryan Tannehill can’t give you some very good play in fantasy. Despite only throwing for 195 yards on Tuesday night he still accumulated 30 FPTS with 3 TDs and a rushing TD. I wouldn’t count on the rushing TD every week but they have shown that they aren’t afraid to throw the ball when they get near the goal line and they have the WR talent to do so. Tennessee will be up against the Texans this week, a team who ranks 22nd in points allowed to opposing QBs on DK so far this season. The Titans are rolling and should have plenty of opportunities this week.

Running Backs

Alexander Mattison ($7,200) vs Falcons- As of this writing Dalvin Cook hasn’t been ruled out but he is not expected to play this week against Atlanta. This will open the door for Alexander Mattison to have full control of the backfield. He did great after Cook went out with an injury last week rushing for 112 yards on 20 carries along with 24 yards receiving. The Falcons are in shambles at the moment and the Vikings have shown that they love to run the football and it has worked thus far. The price is steep but I think it will be worth it with this matchup.

Antonio Gibson ($5,500) vs Giants- The Washington offense hasn’t been pretty so far this year but Gibson has been pretty consistent scoring no less than 10.1 FPTS in the last 4 weeks of the season. He has been rushing the ball decently but a lot of his value comes from what he can do catching the ball out of the backfield. He has been targeted 5 times in each of the last 2 games and has been involved all year in that role. He will be up vs a Giants team that ranks 24th in DK vs opposing RBs this season. With the Washington offensive line issues I think we could see a lot of dump offs to Antonio Gibson this week.

Wide Receivers

Will Fuller V ($6,800) vs Titans- The Texans first game without Bill O’Brien went well as they went on to score 30 points, which was their highest total of the season. In that game Fuller also scored his 3rd TD in 3 games and was targeted 8 times, which was his highest # of targets since week 1. Watson looks like he will have more freedom in this offense and that will be great for Fuller and the Texans WRs. They will be up against the Titans, who do have a stellar defense, but have been mediocre vs WRs on DK ranking 26th. Look for Fuller to continue his TD streak this week.

Laviska Shenault Jr. ($5,200) vs Lions- Rookie WR Laviska Shenault has really started to carve out a role for himself in the Jaguars offense over the past couple of weeks. This season he has scored over 10.2 FPTS in 4 of their 5 games and he had a season high 8 targets last week vs the Texans. Even though the Jaguars haven’t been winning games, Gardner Minshew has found ways to get him the ball and it is working out for fantasy owners. The Lions defense leaves a lot to be desired so I expect Shenault to continue to improve this week.

Tight End

Eric Ebron ($4,100) vs Browns- Ebron got off to a slow start for his new team but in the last 3 games he has had no less than 5 targets and/or 43 yards receiving. Those aren’t big numbers but they are very acceptable for a TE that is priced in this range. He has only found the endzone once and with numerous weapons for the Steelers it is unlikely that will ever be consistent from him, but in this matchup vs the Browns I think he will be very solid yet again.

Defense

Indianapolis Colts D/ST ($4,000) vs Bengals- The Colts have one of the best defensive units in all of football and I think they will be able to show that off vs Joe Burrow and the Bengals this week. The Ravens were able to limit the Bengals to only 3 points and sacked Joe Burrow 7 times. The Colts defensive line isn’t as good as the Ravens but they should be able to cause havoc and cause some rookie errors from Burrow.
