Contents
The NFL Draft starts on Thursday, and DraftKings Sportsbook is providing new users with a chance to win $100 if a quarterback is drafted first overall. This, of course, is happening with Trevor Lawrence going to Jacksonville. All new users will need to do is bet $1 on anything related to the NFL Draft, and DraftKings will issue $100 in bonus bets. This offer is for new users only, and those in PA, IA, or VA are not permitted.
DraftKings NFL Draft Promo
For new users, DraftKings is offering a great way to build your bankroll with the NFL Draft. All you need to do is be a first-time DraftKings depositor and make a $5+ deposit into your account. After that, place at least one bet of $1 or more on any NFL Draft Market. You must place the bet before the start of the NFL Draft on 4/29, and if you are in the states of Michigan and West Virginia, the cutoff is a bit different. For West Virginia users, you must place the bet before 8 PM eastern on 4/28 and before 11;59 on 4/28 if you are in Michigan. This offer is not available in the states of PA, IA, or VA. After that, you just wait for the first overall pick to come in, which will be Trevor Lawrence, and then you will get a bonus paid out as four $25 bonus bets to use within the next seven days. They are not redeemable for cash.
For those new, but in one of the ineligible states, you can still get a $50 bonus bet and a deposit match up to $1,000.
Positions of Teams 1st Pick
There are some interesting options on the board for many of the top-12 teams. The Giants are likely going to be in a spot where they have to chose between Micah Parsons and one of the top three wide receivers. Taking a wide receiver is +125 for the Giants, while the linebacker is +300. They need someone like Parsons for their defense but also need to start adding to wide receiver. However, after the Kenny Golladay signing, I could see them continuing to add to their defense instead. The secondary is in better shape, but they are missing a dynamic guy like Parsons. +300 here is a solid value.
Denver is a team that has Drew Lock but is -106 to take a quarterback. With Mac Jones now over -300 to go to San Francisco, there is a chance Denver is in line to take Justin Fields or Trey Lance. If either of these two are on the board, which Fields continues to slip, Denver should be going with a quarterback to at least give them options. Denver is also a possible trade-up team if the market gets hot for a trade-up from teams like New England, Washington, or even Chicago. While a quarterback is only -106, Denver is -182 to take an offensive player. Hard to see them taking a lineman, which is the next bet at +400 after a linebacker at +400. These are two of the better teams to look at with draft odds.
