Titans vs Colts Odds
TEN -2
Total Points 48.5
TEN -125 | IND +110
The odds are in for the Thursday Night Matchup between the Titans and Colts. The Titans are coming in favored by two points over the Colts. The Colts have just fallen to the Ravens, in which the offense really could not get anything going after one successful drive. Meanwhile, the Titans handled their business against the Chicago Bears and won.
Considering that the Colts are coming off a loss and the Titans coming off a win, I expected a bigger spread. I think that +2 for the Titans was generous; however, it still leaves bettors with a tough choice. The choices being to side with the Colts’ defense and bank on them rushing all over the Titans or to side with the home team and go with Tannehill and Derrick Henry to put up big points.
The 48.5 over/under seems very fair. This game could easily turn into a shootout with the Titans’ poor defense and explosive offense. However, with both teams most likely wanting to run the ball, time will fly off the clock.
Note that this game and every NFL game has live-game betting with DraftKings. So, if you do not like the odds at the moment, make sure to check in on the live-game odds as the two teams battle it out Thursday Night. Depending on how the game starts out, you may find some bets that intrigue you!
Betting Advice TEN+2
I think that this game will be defined by the turnover battle. While the Tennessee defense has not been great as a unit, it is filled with studs who can make plays. Whenever facing Philip Rivers, you should get excited about the prospect of interceptions and fumbles. There is also the fact that Johnathan Taylor fumbled in the game against Baltimore. I believe that the Titans win the turnover battle and win the game.
Tannehill has been very secure with the ball, only throwing three interceptions on 254 attempts. Compare that to the already 19 touchdowns Tannehill has thrown, and it is easy to see why people are making MVP arguments for the veteran QB out of Texas A&M. Tennessee’s offense is too good and too secure with the ball to lose this game to the Colts, and I think that they beat the spread by a few points, with a touchdown victory margin.
I like Tannehill and the Titans +2.5 on Thursday Night Football.
