Goff + Brady Passing Touchdown Odds Boost

There is an odds boost out there this week for the Monday Night Football game, where Brady and Goff each have to throw two or more touchdowns, and they have bumped the odds from +130 to +160. The over/under is set at 48 in this one, and while the Rams defense has been stingy, they will face a Buccaneers offense with plenty of weapons to spread the ball around to. Brady has just three games this season under two touchdowns and has thrown two or more in four of the last five games. Jared Goff has just 13 touchdowns in nine games this season, but with the Buccaneers run defense allowing minimal production to running backs. Touchdowns generally have to come through the air. The Bucs have allowed two touchdowns in each of the last four games to Derek Carr, Daniel Jones, Drew Brees, and Teddy Bridgewater.

Rob Gronkowski +210 To Score

The Rams have not really faced a string of good tight ends this season, and this is a game where I can see most of the wide receivers getting a lot of the attention, and the Bucs have to spread the ball around and do damage in different ways. While Rob Gronkowski is still an imposing name, he’s not the force he used to be. However, +210 to score is very intriguing in this one, especially with him being targeted 20% of the time in the red zone, which is the second-most on the team. He has four red zone touchdowns on the year. With most of the wideouts on lockdown, look for Gronk to get some chances in the red zone, especially as a mismatch is still against these linebackers.

Josh Reynolds Over 3.5 Receptions

Josh Reynolds has been trending upwards of late, with 27 targets over the last three weeks. He has four or more catches in each of the last three games. As long as the volume continues, Reynolds can hit this mark. I expect this to be a tight and contested game by both sides, and while it may not blow out the over, it should hover around that 48 total. If the Rams can’t get much going on the ground, which many teams haven’t been able to against the Buccaneers, Goff will have to use a lot of underneath routes to get this going. All three receivers can certainly play that role, but I like Reynolds to be a bit of an afterthought for the Buccaneers defense.
