Minnesota travels to Chicago for Monday Night Football this week, as these are two teams fighting for second place in the NFC North. Minnesota has begun to look better on both sides of the ball while the Bears continue to struggle against better teams around the league. DraftKings has plenty of props and lines to bet on for this game, and if you are a new user there is a deposit bonus promo to opt into if you are signing up. A great way to make the Bears offense more interesting to watch is getting together with some friends and placing a few bets. Chicago Bears Over 9.5 First Half Points (-137)
While Chicago is certainly not an offense we love to take the over on, 9.5 is a bit weak for the Vikings defense who will be on the other side. Minnesota’s defense has allowed 29.2 points per game this season and struggles against the pass. I expect the Bears to move the ball a bit better this week with Matt Nagy handing off play-calling duties but with a lack of running back depth and David Montgomery being out, Chicago should throw a bit more. Bill Lazor is someone who should open things up a bit. We won’t get the three yards per carry Montgomery runs as a constant throughout the game. Over the last three games, the Vikings have allowed 15.7 points per game in the first half and with the secondary struggling a bit this season, Nick Foles has a few strong receivers who have picked up their play.
Player Prop Wagers
With Irv Smith Jr. out this week, Kyle Rudolph will be the lone tight end option and that is intriguing with him being +325 to score. That is a solid number with the Bears having a lockdown secondary and funneling a lot down to the tight end position. The Bears have allowed six touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season and one in each of the last three games. Even dating back to last season, tight ends saw the 5th most receptions. Allen Robinson is always a guy I have an interest in. He is 7th in receiving yards despite being on this Bears team. He has a receiving yards prop of 67.5 this week at (-112) to hit the over. He has hit this number in every week but one this year. The targets continue to be there on a weekly basis, and this is a Vikings defense who has continuously given up big games to opposing WR1s this season.
