Around the Betting Industry
Two sports betting bills were introduced last week in Washington state. HB-2478 and SB-6277 are seeking to legalize sports betting through licensed card rooms, racetracks and tribal casinos. Unfortunately for Washington bettors, it is unlikely either bill will be passed this session. The current legislative session is scheduled for just 60 days due to it being an election year.
The introduction of these bills is a step in the right direction though as a previous bill was calling for legal sports betting at just tribal locations. It appears for now that Washington will be looking to 2021 for legal sports betting unless something surprising occurs within the next two months.

Today’s Odds Boosts at DraftKings
NBA: Damian Lillard & CJ McCollum each to record 3 or more 3-pointers
+180 to +200
Lillard has made three or more three-pointers in seven of his last eight games. McCollum has made three or more threes in four of his last five games.
NBA: Domantas Sabonis to record a double-double & Pacers to Win
+270 to +300
Sabonis has recorded a double-double or better in all but seven games this season. The Pacers are seven-point underdogs but if they are going to win, Sabonis will need a big game and all but surely a double-double. This bet provides better value than a straight moneyline play on the Pacers and shouldn’t be much more difficult.
NBA: Lakers & Nuggets & Jazz all to win
+409 to +450
The Jazz are seven-point favorites while the Lakers are two-point favorites. The Nuggets are a small underdog at 2.5-points. The Jazz are the only home team of the three.
NBA: LeBron James & Giannis Antetokounmpo & James Harden each to score 30 or more points
+475 to +520
James has scored 30+ in four of his last five games and is averaging 25.5 PPG. Antetokounmpo has scored 30+ in six of his last nine games (including 29 in one) and is averaging exactly 30 PPG. Harden has scored 30+ in seven of his last nine games and is averaging 37.1 PPG. James is the only one who has to score above his average so this bet may be worth a shot with that solid payout.
NCAAB: West Virginia & Baylor each to win by 10 or more points
+275 to +305
Baylor is a 10-point favorite while West Virginia is currently an 8.5-point favorite. The spread is moving away from West Virginia but if their defense plays well enough they could certainly get a 10-point win against Texas.
NHL: Over 6.5 goals in the Panthers vs Wild – Including OT
+104 to +125
The total in this game is 6.5 goals so this is a straight odds boost with no added difficulty.

Oklahoma vs #2 Baylor (134) – 9:00 PM
The Oklahoma Sooners (12-5) take on the #2 Baylor Bears (15-1) tonight in Waco. The Sooners are coming off of a 20-point win against TCU while the Bears have won their last 14 games, including a 75-68 win against Oklahoma State on Saturday.
Oklahoma hasn’t shot the ball very well yet this season but they have been scoring at an above average pace. Despite shooting 225th from the field and 227th from three, the Sooners are 132nd in points per game (73.2). A big reason for this is that they are 20th in FT% (76.9%). The Sooner defense is 73rd in FG% allowed and 157th in 3PT% allowed.
Baylor has been scoring fairly decent as well. The Bears are 126th in points per game with 73.4. Baylor is a solid three-point shooting team that ranks 83rd in percentage. However, they haven’t shot that well from the field (203rd) and they are below average from the line (183rd). The Baylor defense has been one of the best in the country so far this season as they are just sixth in points allowed per game (58.6). They are 20th in opponent FG% and 100th in opponent 3PT%.
The total has gone UNDER in four of the last five games for each team. With Baylor’s defense and neither team particularly great at shooting the ball, I like this one to go UNDER as well. Baylor likes to slow the game down and they should do just that at home tonight. Points should be at a premium in this one and the formula agrees as it sees a total of just 130.
