ESPN Bet Becomes An Official PGA Tour Betting Operator, Adds Betting Broadcast
ESPN Bet is increasing its presence for the 2025 PGA Tour season.
ESPN Bet, parent company Penn Entertainment, and the PGA Tour will introduce a branded live betting stream on PGA Tour Live. The stream will be available on ESPN+ for six FedEx Cup events this year, starting with the WM Phoenix Open in February.
The companies announced that the stream comes from a new multi-year agreement between Penn and the tour, which designates ESPN Bet as an official betting operator of the PGA Tour.

Live betting stream highlights six FedEx Cup events
The ESPN Bet on PGA Tour Live stream will debut for the WM Phoenix Open from Feb. 6 to 9. It will include coverage of TPC Scottsdale’s famous 16th hole, a par 3 at the Stadium Course, which gives the course its name.
After the People’s Open, ESPN Bet on PGA Tour Live will return for five events:
- The Players Championship (March 13-16)
- Truist Championship (May 8-11)
- The Memorial Tournament presented by Workday (May 29-June 1)
- Travelers Championship (June 19-22)
- FedEx St. Jude Championship (Aug. 7-10)
Partnership fulfills long-term tour goal
The feed will run for two hours before each event’s main broadcast window, providing live golf coverage and discussions on hole-by-hole live betting and tournament markets. It will feature host Jonathan Coachman, on-course reporter Michael Collins and analysts Matt Every and Graham DaLaet.
All season long, PGA Tour Live presents an enhanced viewing experience that incorporates ShotLink technology to track shots and provide analytics on players and the course. The six ESPN Bet streams will aim to enhance the experience even further.
“Pairing the PGA Tour’s in-depth ShotLink powered by CDW data with the power of the ESPN and ESPN Bet brands is certain to make for a compelling sports-watching experience for fans and bettors of our sport,” said Scott Warfield, the PGA Tour vice president for gaming. “A competition feed with a focus on odds and wagers has been a goal of the PGA Tour since our agreement with ESPN+ first began in 2022, and we are proud to make that vision a reality today with the support of our new partner, Penn Entertainment.”
Live streams are a focus for growing the ESPN Bet brand
PGA Tour Live offers more than triple the TV coverage on broadcast networks throughout the golfing season. This year, it will cover 35 tournaments, 28 of which will have four-day coverage with four simultaneous live feeds daily: a main feed, featured holes, marquee groups and featured groups.
Jason Birney, vice president of operations at Penn, said the partnership will help grow the ESPN Bet brand “through innovative betting-themed broadcasts powered by [its] sportsbook.” He added that the program will “create unique opportunities to engage golf fans in an entertaining way with compelling up-to-the-minute data and insights.”
With the partnership, ESPN Bet and Penn also gain the rights to use PGA Tour marks and to connect with fans through content and advertising on tour media and partner platforms.
