Fanatics Sportsbook Announces In-app Reward System, Prepares for U.S. Expansion

The newly launched Fanatics sportsbook — which is currently live in 4 markets — plans to make a splash in an increasingly competitive market by separating from other operators with their user reward offerings and seamless UI experience.

Individuals Earn 5% Back in FanCash on SGPs

With such fierce competition in the modern sports betting industry, Fanatics will need to offer something unique to stand out. In addition to a well-designed mobile app, Fanatics allows users to gain Fancash as they place more wagers. Basically, users get part of their initial stake back in the form of Fancash: 1% for straight bets, 3% for parlay bets, and 5% for same-game parlays.

This Fancash is added to a user’s account whether the wager wins or loses. Fancash can then be used on apparel purchases from Fanatics.com or converted into bonus bets.

Bettors can also see how much potential Fancash they’ll be able to add to their account within the betslip. The distinctive Fancash feature could be a big boost for sports bettors looking for a more unique platform.

Fanatics Sportsbook Currently Live in OH, MA, MD, & TN

Fanatics Sportsbook has launched the beta version of their mobile app in four different sports betting markets: Ohio, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Tennessee. Three of these states rolled out legal sports betting within the last year, with the most recent being Massachusetts sports betting on March 10, 2023.

Additionally, a retail Fanatics Sportsbook opened its doors earlier this year at FedEx Field, the home stadium of the Washington Commanders. This sportsbook made history as the first in-person betting spot located at an NFL stadium and has 21 betting kiosks to go with eight service windows for fans to wager at.

Fanatics Sportsbook Could Launch Elsewhere by NFL Season

The NFL season is kicking off on September 7, 2023 as the Detroit Lions face off against the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs. This will signal a big time for sports betting, and Fanatics Sportsbook will look to be available in more markets by the time that first game kicks off.

There are plenty of states with legal sports betting that Fanatics Sportsbook could begin launching in, such as Michigan, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Louisiana, and Virginia. The New York sports betting market currently only allows for nine sports betting sites, although Fanatics could roll out in the state if given the opportunity.

The platform should be one of the first available when the online Kentucky sports betting industry rolls out on September 28, 2023. The state is expected to welcome such top mobile betting apps as DraftKings Sportsbook, BetMGM Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook, and FanDuel Sportsbook.

Retail sports betting in Kentucky will also be available on September 7th, giving Fanatics the opportunity to partner with a horse racing track in the state and open up an in-person betting location.
