Fanatics Sportsbook Connecticut Soft Launches With Online And Retail Options

Fanatics Sportsbook has expanded its retail and mobile sports betting products to the state of Connecticut. This soft launch allows for 2,000 Fanatics Connecticut accounts to be created, with a full rollout happening on December 18, 2023.

This is the latest state the new sports betting site has launched in, with Fanatics recently going live in Colorado, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Fanatics Sportsbook Soft Launches In The State of Connecticut

Connecticut just got its latest sports betting site with the soft launch of Fanatics Sportsbook. This expansion will let 2,000 individuals that are 21 and up sign up for the mobile sportsbook and start placing wagers. Meanwhile, the full launch is planned for December 18, 2023. The rollout comes courtesy of the Fanatics Holdings Inc. subsidiary Fanatics Betting and Gaming.

Alongside this launch, Fanatics Sportsbook will be the exclusive retail and mobile sports betting partner for the Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC). With the partnership, Fanatics Sportsbook has replaced Rush Street Interactive, which had a now-terminated 10-year deal with the CLC.

The platform will also be the odds provider for Connecticut Lottery retail betting options. The mobile app, which is available for Android and iOS devices, can now be downloaded in the state of Connecticut.

In addition to the available online betting app, Fanatics Sportsbook will have 10 retail betting locations across the state. This will be done by upgrading locations run by the Connecticut Lottery with new betting kiosks, Fanatics Sportsbook signage, and new odds screens. The betting kiosks will be provided by Suzohapp, an international gaming company.

Fanatics Sportsbook will offer retail sports betting at locations such as Aroogas in Shelton, Bobby V’s in Windsor Locks and Stamford, Sports Haven in New Haven, The XL Center in Hartford, and Winners in Milford, Waterbury, New Britain, and Hartford.

Now that Fanatics Sportsbook is available in Connecticut, the online betting site is available in nine states, including Tennessee, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, Colorado, Ohio, and Massachusetts.

Fanatics Continues To Focus On Responsible Gaming

Alongside Fanatics Sportsbook Connecticut going live, the sports betting operator has highlighted its commitment to responsible gaming. With Fanatics Sportsbook Online, bettors will have access to different responsible gaming tools. Meanwhile, retail sportsbooks will feature staff members that have training in responsible betting.

Fanatics Sportsbook has also joined the Never Know What’s Next campaign. This new responsible gaming campaign focuses on the importance of knowing the risks involved with sports betting. In addition to Fanatics Sportsbook, the campaign features sports leagues such as the NBA, NHL, and MLB, as well as other sports betting operators like ESPN BET, FanDuel Sportsbook, and DraftKings Sportsbook.

Fanatics Sportsbook Continues Its Expansion Across The U.S.

In the past month, four states have gained access to Fanatics Sportsbook. The most recent was Connecticut, with Colorado sports bettors able to sign up starting last week. Meanwhile, the online betting site rolled out in both Virginia and West Virginia in November.

Fanatics Casino also made its very first appearance alongside the launch of Fanatics Sportsbook in West Virginia. With Connecticut online casinos live and legal, it remains to be seen if the iGaming app from Fanatics Betting and Gaming will also expand into the state.
