Fanatics Sportsbook Expands To West Virginia
The Fanatics Online Sportsbook app is now fully available to West Virginia sports bettors. With this launch, the platform has officially started the move from PointsBet Sportsbook to Fanatics Sportsook. This process began in August of 2023, when PoinstBet’s U.S. business was acquired by Fanatics Betting and Gaming.
Former PointsBet Sportsbook users in the Mountain State will just need to download the Fanatics Sportsbook app, which is available for Android and iOS devices. Login credentials will stay the same during this migration, which will make it much simpler for former PointsBet users. The balance and open wagers from PointsBet Sportsbook will be visible after signing in. West Virginia is now the fifth state that Fanatics Sportsbook has launched in, alongside Tennessee, Ohio, Massachusetts, and Maryland.
West Virginia sports betting originally launched with retail wagering on August 30, 2018 and online betting on August 26, 2019.
