Fanatics Sportsbook To Be Unveiled Soon, Likely To Launch In Ohio & Maryland

Fanatics Sportsbook will be available before you know it. The mobile betting app from Fanatics Inc. has been hyped up for quite some time now, with sports bettors awaiting a look at the anticipated betting site. Well, it looks as though we won’t have to wait too much longer to see the new mobile betting site.

With Fanatics entering the sports betting industry soon, here’s some details on what we should expect from the platform.

Fanatics Sportsbook Could Be Fully Unveiled Today

The wait is almost over to get a glimpse at the Fanatics sports betting site. Ryan Linnehan, a sports betting industry writer, recently posted on Twitter that we could see the Fanatics Sportsbook app revealed during today’s license hearing.

It will definitely be interesting to see what the final product will look like, as the final name of the mobile wagering app hasn’t even been revealed yet. Linnehan later tweeted that the hearing would pick up on Thursday, with an executive session planned to display the sportsbook.

What Can We Expect From Fanatics Sportsbook?

With the first look at the platform incoming, we can definitely expect Fanatics Sports Betting to be competitive with major sports wagering sites like BetMGM Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook, and FanDuel Sportsbook. Well, it’s more than likely that Fanatics will strive to offer competitive lines on different sporting events to keep up with these major sports betting operators.

One type of bet that’s only recently grown in popularity is single-game parlays, which are now available with most of the top sports betting apps. Fanatics should likely include some type of same-game parlay system, along with standard straight bets, parlay bets, and futures bets. It will be especially interesting to see if Fanatics takes the next steps with single-game parlays to let users combine same-game parlays with standard parlays for one big bet. Currently, DraftKings and FanDuel offer this type of wager under the names SGPx and SGP Plus respectively.

Other details should come sooner than later, such as Fanatics promotions. All the top names in sports betting offer welcome bonuses, so you can expect first bet bonuses or a deposit match bonus to start out. And, like the other top sports betting platforms, Fanatics will likely offer weekly promotions such as odds boosts and bonus bets on certain events.

Fanatics Likely Coming To Ohio And Maryland Soon

Two states have recently fully launched online sports betting markets: Maryland and Ohio. The state of Maryland rolled out its mobile wagering on November 23rd, 2022, just a day before the Thanksgiving holiday. This allowed bettors to immediately start placing bets on the full Thanksgiving slate of NFL games, which led to some big numbers to kick off online betting in the Old Line State.

And Ohio sports betting just launched at midnight on New Year’s Day, and even though it’s just been a few days, it’s been very successful thus far. In fact, the first weekend of sports betting in the Buckeye State even outshined major markets such as New York. Fanatics Sportsbook has sports betting licenses for both new markets, and while it is not available in either state as of yet, you can definitely expect the platform to be released in both states and more in the near future.
