Point Guards

  • Trae Young
  • Ben Simmons
  • Damian Lillard
  • Kyle Lowry – GPP
  • Ja Morant
  • Malcolm Brogdon
  • Darius Garland
  • De’Anthony Melton – GPP
  • Kris Dunn
  • Kendrick Nunn – GPP

Analysis: The top two priced point guards on the night are in prime spots, with Luka Doncic averaging 51 fantasy points over his last ten games, and gets Portland tonight who are a weaker defense. A televised game for Doncic, I expect another triple double game from him. Trae Young gets a good matchup against the Spurs, and Young’s 36% usage rate is second to Doncic at the position. Ben Simmons continues to be a strong play with Joel Embiid out, and is averaging 48 fantasy points over the last ten games. Malcolm Brogdon is another one of my favorite points per dollar plays in the same matchup as he was last game. The Cavaliers and Memphis guards are strong value, outside of Ja Morant because of his price, but he is a strong play still. Sexton and Garland are both solid values tonight in a good spot against Memphis.

Shooting Guards

  • DeMar DeRozan
  • Zach LaVine
  • C.J. McCollum
  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – GPP
  • Josh Richardson
  • Dillon Brooks
  • Kevin Huerter
  • Norman Powell

Analysis: Not too many shooting guards on my radar tonight, but even in a tough matchup Zach LaVine has a solid floor if you want to pay up a bit. I would rather use DeMar DeRozan against Atlanta for a similar price tag. Both are averaging right around 44 fantasy points per game over the last ten games. C.J. McCollum is a safe cash game play, but lacks the upside of a few others on this slate. We know the upside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has, and I like him in tournaments more so because there are a few names for value below. Josh Richardson is one of them, getting the Bulls 20th ranked defense against the position. He is averaging over 30 fantasy points in the last ten games. Dillon Brooks has been a scoring machine of late and gets the Cavaliers tonight. Kevin Huerter is back in play again, and his minutes have been fairly safe.

Small Forwards

  • Pascal Siakam
  • Tobias Harris
  • Carmelo Anthony – GPP
  • Danilo Gallinari
  • TJ Warren
  • Jarrett Culver
  • Troy Brown – GPP
  • Tim Hardaway
  • OG Anunoby – GPP

Analysis: Pascal Siakam is the top small forward play, who is back in action after a lengthy time out for injury. Toronto is in a great spot facing a bottom five defense this season. Tobias Harris is another strong play tonight, as the Bulls struggle to defend both forward spots. This position screams mid-range plays with Carmelo Anthony, Danilo Gallinari, and T.J. Warren in play tonight. Jarrett Culver and Tim Hardaway Jr are solid values on this slate averaging over 25 fantasy points per game in the last ten. Troy Brown and OG Anunoby have some upside, but the floors are tough to trust in cash games.

Power Forwards

  • Domantas Sabonis
  • Bam Adebayo
  • John Collins – GPP
  • Al Horford
  • Kevin Love
  • Jaren Jackson
  • LaMarcus Aldridge
  • Davis Bertans
  • Maxi Kleber – If Porzingis is out.

Analysis: Averaging over 40 fantasy points in the last ten games, Domantas Sabonis is a solid option to build around tonight, especially facing a pedestrian Minnesota defense. There are quite a few options to use tonight, like Bam Adebayo and John Collins. Both are in about the same matchups, and averaging 37 fantasy points over the last ten games. Al Horford continues to play well in Embiid’s absence and is a strong play against the Bulls front court which is severely banged up. Once again we can head to the Cavs-Grizzlies game for options, with Kevin Love in a spot where Memphis ranks 28th against opposing power forwards and the Cavs rank just 14th, but allow a hefty amount of fantasy points to power forwards. Jaren Jackson and Love both are at decent prices as well. LaMarcus Aldridge is a bit underpriced and in a great spot against the Hawks. Davis Bertans and Maxi Kleber remain strong values, but Kleber depends on Porzingis’ status.

  • Hassan Whiteside
  • Jonas Valanciunas
  • Steven Adams
  • Myles Turner – GPP
  • Dwight Powell
  • Gorgui Dieng

Analysis: Only a few true options at center tonight, and Hassan Whiteside is your more expensive choice, but Dallas ranks just 22nd against opposing centers. Whiteside is averaging over 40 fantasy points per game over the last ten games. Dwight Powell on the other side of that one has been a strong value, and Portland ranks 29th against centers. If KAT is out tonight, Gorgui Dieng should see strong minutes again, and Indiana ranks 23rd against centers this season. Steven Adams and Jonas Valanciunas are solid mid-range plays, where Myles Turner is a high risk GPP option only.
