FanDuel Mobile App Named Best In Sports Betting By Research Firm

FanDuel Sportsbook App LogoThe sports betting industry can be pretty top heavy in terms of market leaders. Although plenty of different mobile betting apps are now available across the U.S., some of the top choices for sports bettors are FanDuel Sportsbook, DraftKings Sportsbook, Caesars Sportsbook, and BetMGM Sportsbook.

Possibly the biggest rivalry in sports betting is between FanDuel Sportsbook and DraftKings Sportsbook, which dates back to the two battling it out for the daily fantasy sports crown throughout the 2010s. While the two continue to compete as more states launch legal betting markets, FanDuel just got a big win with is mobile betting offerings. Let’s see how the FanDuel mobile app has been named the best in online sports betting.

FanDuel Sportsbook App Named Best In Q3 Report

According to a new ranking report from the research firm Eilers & Krejcik, FanDuel Sportsbook has been appointed as the best app in sports betting. These rankings from the third quarter of 2022 were revealed in the EKG Report, which is sent out by Eilers & Krejcik on a bi-weekly basis. This comes after DraftKings took the top spot in June’s rankings.

According to Casino.org, the deciding factor in this decision is the increasingly popular same-game parlay feature. While they’re still fairly new, same-game parlays (SGPs) have become an exciting new feature for sports bettors, with the ability to combine numerous wagers from a single game for a big payday. Both FanDuel and DraftKings offer same-game parlay bets, with both offering numerous promotions around profit boosts and bonus SGPs.

BetPARX Sportsbook Rises In The Rankings While Circa Drops

The report from Eilers & Krejcik also revealed that BetPARX, the online betting app from Parx Casino, has greatly improved since the last rankings were released. BetParx Sportsbook rose in the research firm’s rankings eight spots. The mobile betting app is gaining more acclaim as of late, partially due to its partnership with the Philadelphia 76ers.

However, the report wasn’t as kind to the Circa Sports betting application, which ranked bottom on the list oin terms of interface. Additionally, Eilers & Krejcik ranked Circa Sports in its bottom five when it comes to features. Out of 40 online betting apps featured on the list, Circa ranked just 39th.

Big Win For FanDuel Sportsbook

The top ranking for FanDuel Sportsbook is major for the sports betting platform, considering its fierce competition from DraftKings and other sports betting operators. In addition to its mobile app, FanDuel has also recently made a major move towards content creation with the rollout of FanDuel TV. The sports betting channel features a wide range of content from former ESPN anchor Lisa Kerney, podcast host Pat McAfee, and much more. Plus, the network just debuted a brand new NBA betting show hosted by Chandler Parsons and Michelle Beadle.

Both FanDuel and DraftKings have experimented with similar interesting marketing moves, as seen with the recent collaboration between DraftKings Sportsbook and NFT company Deadfellaz. While the competition between FanDuel Sportsbook and the rest of the field will continue to be interesting, being named the top mobile app alone is a huge step forward for an online-focused industry.
