FanDuel Named Official Partner Of Gaming Society Newsletter

FanDuel Sportsbook App LogoFanDuel Sportsbook just got a new partner! The popular mobile betting app has struck a deal with Gaming Society. The partnership adds to a long list of deals made by FanDuel Sportsbook, which includes a number of different professional teams and even some major stars in the sports world. FanDuel has had an interesting year of growth, with more partnerships and the launch of FanDuel TV, a sports network with a focus on wagering. Plus, FanDuel is now available in more markets, with the sportsbook launching in Kansas, New York, Louisiana, and Ontario this year.

With this Gaming Society partnership, this upward trajectory shouldn’t slow anytime soon. Here’s what you need to know about FanDuel’s latest deal and some other partnerships the mobile betting site has made.

FanDuel Sportsbook Teams Up With Gaming Society

Gaming Society, a brand new sports betting community platform, has officially made its first sportsbook partnership. The deal makes FanDuel the official sponsor of the Gaming Society newsletter, which keys in on pro football from a wagering perspective. The weekly newsletter, which is distributed on Thursdays, showcases betting tips as well as instructional content for bettors. The newsletter will also promote the free-to-play mobile app from Gaming Society “Bet Club,” which awards users prizes for correctly answering newsletter-related questions.

Gaming Society Taking Female-Focused Approach

One of the big focuses of the newsletter, and Gaming Society as a whole, is to encourage more women to embrace the world of sports betting. A Recent Pew Research survey suggests that while 24% of men have placed a wager on some kind of sporting event in the past year, only 15% of women have bet on sports.

Gaming Society’s emphasis on making sports wagering open to all is seen with its newsletter team, which is female-led. The Gaming Society website also showcases the “Bet on Women” section, which focuses on women’s sports from a betting perspective.

Other FanDuel Sportsbook Partnerships

This deal with Gaming Society is far from FanDuel’s first professional partnership. In fact, FanDuel has teamed up with plenty of popular professional sports teams across different leagues. The online sportsbook has struck deals with plenty of different NFL teams, such as the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Commanders, New York Jets, and Denver Broncos, as well as NHL teams like the Detroit Red Wings and New Jersey Devils. The New York Liberty of the WNBA also have a partnership with FanDuel.

Some of FanDuel Sportsbook’s NBA partnerships are especially interesting. For example, the sports betting platform has struck a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, despite the fact that the state of California doesn’t currently have a legal betting market (although that could change soon with Prop 26 and Prop 27). Another interesting deal is with the Phoenix Suns, which also includes the opening of a FanDuel retail sportsbook at Footprint Center where the Suns play home games.

FanDuel has also named a number of different celebrity brand ambassadors, such as pro golfer Jordan Spieth and media personality and host of “The Pat McAfee Show” Pat McAfee. Plus, McAfee will produce content for the new FanDuel TV channel.
