Each day brings us new odds on the FanDuel Sportsbook, and we take a dive into the best odds to find picks and props that we like for the night. MLB is in full swing, but we have a lot of big events like the NBA Finals and the Stanley Cup as well.

Minnesota Twins @ Tampa Bay Rays

The Twins are slight underdogs tonight against the Rays, and come in winning seven of their last ten games. Minnesota has been one of the hottest teams in baseball, but one of the more profitable teams to bet on as well. They are 12-3 SU over the last 15 games, and are 12-12 as a dog this season. The Twins are 9-2 in starts made by Jose Berrios this season, and will likely welcome back Nelson Cruz in the lineup.

I will take the Twins as a slight dog, sitting at +114. It is going to be a bullpen game for Tampa Bay, as Ryne Stanek is projected to start. Tampa will bring in right-handers, and Minnesota is 32-12 against right-handed pitching this season. There are not a lot of dogs to bet on tonight, but we get some good value on the Twins.

Zack Wheeler OVER 6.5 Strikeouts

Dating back to last season, Zack Wheeler has a 3.93 xFIP and 25% strikeout rate. He will head to the desert tonight to face Arizona, where Arizona’s projected lineup has a 23.7% strikeout rate against right-handers since 2018. Wheeler’s strikeout rate in 2019 alone is 26.2%, and the projected lineup changes to just 23.5%. There are a lot of strikeouts in this Arizona lineup. Wheeler has 8, 6, and 6 strikeouts over the last three starts, and in a lone start against Arizona last season he had eight strikeouts. We get a generous 6.5 here, and Wheeler is projecting for 7.34 strikeouts tonight, which is fourth on the slate to the bigger names.

Detroit Tigers @ Atlanta Braves OVER 9 Runs

Hotlanta is in full force tonight, as the weather is hot and winds are blowing out to left field. Good night for hitters, and I am on the over here. Spencer Turnbull has flashed potential this season, but is in a tough matchup against Atlanta, who have been heating up. Mike Foltynewciz might be turning a leaf in 2019, after his struggles were very notable when he returned from injury. Detroit isn’t a good offense, but to chip away at Folty and a struggling bullpen is doable. The over is 4-2 in Foltynewicz’s starts this season, and there are concerns for Turnbull as we head into June. His hard-contact jumped 15% in May, and we started to see ERA estimators even out a bit. Turnbull also has struggled against left-handed hitters, allowing a .350 wOBA.
