FanDuel Sportsbook Daily Pitch 6/7/19: Free Betting Lines, Picks, Props
Contents
Each day brings us new odds on the FanDuel Sportsbook, and we take a dive into the best odds to find picks and props that we like for the night. MLB is in full swing, but we have a lot of big events like the NBA Finals and the Stanley Cup as well.
Klay Thompson Over 18.5 Points
Klay Thompson is back for Game 4, and the Warriors desperately needed him in Game 3. With still no Kevin Durant, Thompson and Stephen Curry will have to shoulder the load. Having Thompson back gives the Warriors another shooter, and also allows Draymond Green to get back in a groove. Thompson has scored 25 and 21 in the first two games of the series. Since the playoffs begun he is over 18.5 ten out of 18 games he has played.
Thompson is going to be matched up against Kawhi Leonard a fair amount, as he was in Game 2. He also saw some of Kyle Lowry and Norman Powell. He was still able to exploit those secondary matchups, but will have a tough time against Leonard. Thompson had a 24.1% usage rate in Game 2, and I like him to push close to that tonight.
Oakland Athletics @ Texas Rangers Over 10 Runs
The last ten meetings Oakland has been to Texas, the over is 6-3-1. The Oakland offense is better on the road, which makes sense given they play their home games at the coliseum and then you have Texas who is a much better offense at home. Oakland is 16-11-2 for the over on the road this season. The last ten games between the two teams no matter location, the over is 7-3. The A’s are averaging 6.9 runs per game in the last ten against Texas, while the Rangers are averaging 4.2.
In Brett Anderson’s last three trips to the hill against Texas, the over has hit 2-1. Lynn has only faced the A’s once lately, allowing eight earned runs. Two subpar arms in a good hitting ballpark with warm weather and humidity, sign me up.
Cincinnati Reds @ Philadelphia Phillies Over 9
Philadelphia is taking on Cincinnati at home, where they have been strong this season. This is a plus ballpark for power, and we have two arms that are relatively similar. Both struggle greatly against left-handed hitters. Tyler Mahle has allowed a .408 wOBA and .269 ISO to lefties. Jerad Eickhoff has allowed a .355 wOBA and .216 ISO to lefties. Both of these are since last season. Both lineups have a fair share of lefties in the lineup, which should be able to tee off.
The total is 6-3 over the last nine games for Cincinnati on the road. The over is 5-1 when Philly is favored over the last six games. The over is 2-1 in Tyler Mahle’s last three starts, and the same goes for Zack Eflin.
Draymond Green Over 8.5 Assists
Draymond Green had his playoff low in assists last game, and a lot of that had to do with taking another strong shooter off the court in Klay Thompson. He is back tonight and that will help Green with defensive matchups and give him another shooter to target. Green is averaging 8.1 assists per game in the postseason, and his assist rate is at 28.5%. The ball movement and offense should be more intact tonight for Golden State, and that helps out Green.
