FanDuel Sportsbook Player Hits MASSIVE +190,000 Parlay

fanduel sportsbookThere was some fantastic news for a FanDuel player out of Pennsylvania this weekend. They placed an 11 legged single-game parlay that led to over +190,000 odds and hit on it with a $10 bet. The player won $19,031.50 on said single-game parlay.

The chances of this happening are insane. What is even more insane is the fact that Nick Chubb’s decision not to run in the touchdown saved this parlay as the player chose the Texans +4.5. The number of things that had to go right in this game for the user is quite literally mind-boggling. However, it goes to show the power of a huge cheap parlay.

Breaking Down the Parlay

I think that it would be interesting to break down some of the legs of this parlay. A lot of these bets made a ton of sense, but for all of them to hit is why the parlay had such a crazy +190,000 payout.

The QBs: The player went with the under for Baker Mayfield and Deshaun Watson passing yards. This one made complete sense, the winds in Cleveland were hitting over 60 MPH before game time, and the game had to be suspended due to severe weather for almost 30 minutes. It was going to be impossible to pass the ball in this game. The player also bet on the over for Watson rushing yards, which goes hand in hand with the inability to pass.

The WRs:The player bet the under on Will Fuller and Brandin Cooks’ receiving yards. While Will Fuller got close, this was another safe bet. If you are betting on the weather causing both Watson and Mayfield to hit the under, then it was always going to be tough for speedsters that use the entire field for production to have good games. So far, through 5 legs, all the bets play into one another, and if a few were going to work, it was rather easy for all to work.

The RBS:Here is where the risk came in, betting the under for Duke Johnson rushing yards at 59.5. I would have never placed this one, but it worked out. I thought with the amount that Houston would be forced to run the football, that it would be easy for Duke to get over that 60-yard mark. The decision to hit the over on Hunt and Chubb in a rushing game script against a terrible rush defense was easy and, obviously, worked out. Also, hitting on the only TD scoring, choosing Chubb as an anytime scorer, was a great bet that, again, required a little luck. Although it is clear, Chubb is better at finding the endzone than his running back partner Hunt.

cleveland brownsGame Picks HOU +4.5, and the under 45.5 go with the general theme of no passing, low-scoring grind it out football due to the weather. However, it all came down to that last play, and this player has to be thanking his lucky stars that Chubb made the correct decision for the team and stepped out at the one-yard line.
