Sports betting may not actually be illegal in Kentucky. Republican state Representative Jason Nemes said it’s a matter of what defines sports betting. Nemes tweeted that under the legal definition, sports betting is a game of skill, not chance, and that’s not currently outlawed in the state.
Nemes is hoping that Kentucky passes House Bill 137 to help regulate and tax sports betting. He believes that if lawmakers don’t do anything about it, it will lead to an unregulated industry with extremely low taxes.

#11 Auburn vs Arkansas (-1) – 7:00 PM
The #11 Auburn Tigers (19-2) take on the Arkansas Razorbacks (16-5) tonight at the Bud Walton Arena. Auburn lost their only two games back-to-back and are now on a four-game winning streak after taking down Kentucky 75-66 on Saturday. Arkansas had a rough stretch, losing three out of four games before picking up a win against Alabama on Saturday 82-78.
Auburn has done their fare share of scoring this season, ranking 21st in points per game. However, despite their high scoring numbers, they don’t shoot the ball very well. Auburn is just 173rd in FG% and 286th in 3PT%. The Tigers even struggle from the line as they rank 277th in FT%. Defensively, the Tigers are an average team that allows 68.4 PPG (154th).
Arkansas has been a more balanced team this season, ranking in the Top 100 in both points scored per game (95th) and points allowed per game (64th). The Razorbacks aren’t the best shooting team in the country either, but they are better than Auburn in every category, especially from the line. Arkansas is 132nd in FG%, 276th in 3PT% and 107th in FT%. Arkansas owns the best 3PT defense in the country, allowing opponents to convert just 24.8% from deep.
Throw the records out because these are two teams that are equally as good in a rising SEC. I like the home team in this one as they are the more balanced team. Arkansas should have one of their better games of the season tonight against a tough opponent at home. The balanced Razorbacks should be able to get the win tonight as their 3PT defense and solid free-throw shooting gets the job done. The formula has Arkansas taking this one 69-73.
