Bill to let Maryland voters decide on legal sports betting passes in legislature’s final hours. Due to the current Coronavirus concerns, the Maryland legislature was ending its session a few weeks early. As the session was coming to a close, a bill that will allow Maryland voters to decide whether or not to legalize sports betting passed with flying colors. The House of Delegates passed the bill 129-3 on Tuesday while the state Senate voted unanimously Wednesday.
If voters do approve sports betting during this November’s election, state lawmakers would then decide who would be eligible to offer sports betting and apply for licensing. Licenses would allow for both in-person and online sports betting.

Melbourne City vs Central Coast Mariners – 2:30 AM
Melbourne City (11-4-6 37 points) is currently second in the A-League standings and will take on the last place Central Coast Mariners (4-1-16 13 points) tonight. Melbourne City has gone 3-1-1 in their last five league contests while Central Coast Mariners have gone 0-5.
While Melbourne City is currently sitting in second place, they have just a +7 goal differential on the year, fourth-best. They have allowed the fifth-most goals in the league, allowing 30 goals in 21 matches.
Central Coast Mariners are in last place in the league standings and are so by a comfortable margin. They are seven points behind the next highest-ranked team and their goal differential is -27, 16 goals worse than the next team. Central Coast Mariners have been outscored 15-3 in their last five contests.
Melbourne City may not be as great as their point total would make them out to be as they have just one win by more than one goal since the beginning of the year. While they can’t seem to win a match comfortably, playing against Central Coast Mariners should give them the best chance to put together a solid game from start to finish. Central Coast is far and away the worst team in the league and it is one of those situations that you just can’t find yourself betting on a team this bad. Instead, pay the juice and take Melbourne City in a game they should win with ease or at the very least find themselves getting another one-goal victory.
Pick: Melbourne City-210
