College Basketball Parlay Insurance
The college basketball season is finally here, and we are already seeing a loaded schedule every day thanks to multiple early season tournaments going on. For college basketball junkies, FanDuel sportsbook has you covered with a college basketball parlay insurance promotion.
Right now, if you bet a 5+ leg college basketball parlay on FanDuel, and one of the legs does not hit, FanDuel will reimburse you up to $25! This ensures you that you have a chance of hitting big or your money back.
The promotion is good from now until December 31, 2020, and you must place at least five legs into your college basketball parlay to qualify for the insurance. Each leg must also have -200 or better to qualify (e.g., -150, -120, +110). There is a max refund of $25, and the parlay insurance does not include round robins, same game parlays, or teasers.
You must opt-in to be eligible for the insurance, and a refund will be issued 72 hours after the parlay is finished if you qualify.
College Basketball Odds Booster
Gonzaga, Alabama, Iowa State to all win +320
Wednesday has a full slate of college basketball, and FanDuel is giving away a special college basketball odds booster, so you can get in on the action. FanDuel is offering +320 odds on Gonzaga, Alabama, and Iowa State all winning on Wednesday.
Gonzaga takes on West Virginia in Indianapolis, Iowa State faces South Dakota State at home, and Alabama has Providence on a neutral site this Wednesday. Gonzaga is playing like the best team in college basketball this season and is an 8.5-point favorite of the Mountaineers. Iowa State and Alabama are short favorites at -1.5 in their matchups.
Alabama and Iowa State will definitely be in a battle in their matchups, but West Virginia can cause havoc on Gonzaga if they aren’t careful. Especially playing a neutral site matchup, this game should be competitive throughout.
College Basketball Best Bet
One of the marquee games of the day is between Illinois and Baylor facing off in Indianapolis. Baylor and Illinois are both top-10 teams in the country and have chance of cutting down the nets in March.
However, that is a long time from now, and a win tonight would be a huge resume booster for both teams. Illinois has a dynamic duo in Ayo Dosunmu and Kofi Cockburn, who both decided to opt-out of the NBA Draft this season to help Illinois win a title. However, Baylor has a trio to watch out for with MaCio Teague, Davion Mitchell, and Jared Butler, who all return in the backcourt, making them one of the country’s best teams under Scott Drew.
The experience that Baylor could start to weigh on Illinois as the game goes along. Yes, Illinois has two NBA lottery picks and its roster, but the Illini will have to lean on freshman Adam Miller to come up with big shots and defend one of Baylor’s big three. Fortunately, Illinois does have a senior guard in Trent Frazier that can help out the young talent on the roster by leading the way on both sides of the floor.
Baylor’s biggest issue is going to be guarding Cockburn in the post. Last year, the Bears ranked 261st in defensive rebounding, giving Illinois multiple second chance opportunities at the basket. Also, Baylor does not have anyone in their starting rotation above 6’9″. Cockburn is 7’0″ while Baylor will need the 6’9″ Freddie Gillespie to try and hold down the post.
