One of my favorite FanDuel parlays for Monday Night Football is Darnell Mooney hitting the over on 38.5 receiving yards, Allen Robinson hitting the over on 67.5 receiving yards, and the Bears to beat the spread at +3.5 coming in at a total of +593 odds.
The Vikings are terrible in pass defense, and the Bears cannot run the ball. This game is going to rely on Nick Foles. Even with a bad game out of Foles, the volume will be there to hit on these two receiving prop-bets for Robinson and Mooney.
Then, the Bears +3.5 is an easy bet. While the Vikings are on a bit of a winning streak, that is all because of Dalvin Cook. The Bears’ defense is too good to be beaten in one dimension of the game. We saw the Titans move away from Henry, for example, and have to rely on Tannehill to win that game against the Bears in Tennessee. This means that Kirk Cousins will have to step up for the Vikings to win. Spoiler, he will not.
The fact that the Bears are a home underdog with the massive home-field advantage Soldier Field gives because of its horrific turf conditions is crazy to me. Even if the Bears do not play great against the run, it is so hard to cut and accelerate on this terrible grass; there is no way for Cook to have the kind of game that we have seen the past couple of weeks.
