FanDuel TV Brings Back NBA Show & Outlines Breeder’s Cup Coverage

FanDuel Sportsbook App LogoFanDuel TV has recently announced that Run It Back, the channel’s popular NBA-focused betting show, will be returning for a second season. Meanwhile, the channel is preparing for its extensive coverage of the 40th Breeder’s Cup.

Overall, FanDuel TV has proved to be popular since rebranding from TVG over a year ago.

Lou Williams Joins Run It Back Season 2 On FanDuel TV

According to a press release from FanDuel, the popular NBA show Run It Back will be back for a second season. The season has already started and will run through February 8, 2024 for four days a week (Monday through Thursday at 10:00 AM ET). After that, the show will begin running five times per week beginning on February 12, 2024 with a Friday show added on.

The Run It Back team has plenty of major personalities, such as Michelle Beadle (Emmy-award winner and co-host of Beadle and Decker on Mad Dog Radio), Chandler Parsons (former member of the Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, and Atlanta Hawks), and Shams Charania (NBA Insider for Stadium and The Athletic).

Plus, Season 2 will feature a new co-host with the introduction of Lou Williams, a 17-season NBA veteran who played with teams like the Philadelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks, and Los Angeles Clippers. Williams won the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2015, 2018, and 2019.

Kevin Grigsby, Senior Vice President and Executive Producer at FanDuel TV, expressed excitement over the new content: “Investing in more episodes of ‘Run It Back’ this season was purposeful. The show saw tremendous growth in its first season and we felt it deserved an expanded weekly lineup in order to reach its potential… We also are bringing the co-hosts to Los Angeles so they can anchor a majority of the shows from FanDuel TV’s new state of the art studio. There is an undeniable team chemistry our audience saw when Michelle, Shams and Chandler were together on set that is hard to replicate remotely.”

Breeder’s Cup Plans Outlined By FanDuel TV

In addition to the return of Run It Back, FanDuel TV recently outlined plans for the 40th Breeder’s Cup World Championships. The Breeder’s Cup, which will take place November 3-4, 2023 at Santa Anita Park, is one of the top horse racing events in the U.S. each year. For the event, FanDuel TV has announced plenty of coverage, including a Pre-Entry Announcement Show, Breakfast at the Breeder’s Cup, and the Post-Position Draw and Morning Line Announcement.

Plus, the Breeder’s Cup Player’s Show live telecast will be broadcast alongside Breeder’s Cup races. These broadcasts will feature FanDuel TV hosts such as Christina Blacker, Todd Schrupp, Joaquin Jamie, and Michelle Yu.

This focus on horse racing can be traced back to August of 2022, when the racing-focused channel TVG saw a full rebrand to FanDuel TV. The channel, which is fully available to users with an active FanDuel account, has proved to be successful with its horse racing coverage, as well as original shows like the Kay Adams-hosted Up & Adams and Run It Back. In addition to those shows, FanDuel TV broadcasts content from The Ringer network.
