Using matchup factors, statistical trends, injuries, and other various data, we can have an edge when it comes to betting on player props and game props for NBA. This is another way to make some money via the betting industry, and also a fun way to watch a game as well.
Last Slate: 1-2
Sacramento Kings @ Washington Wizards
Bradley Beal OVER 5.5 Rebounds (-120)
Bogdon Bogdanovic OVER 1.5 Threes Made (-176)
240 total here tonight with two teams that have below average defenses, and play at a top ten pace. Bradley Beal is averaging crazy high minutes this season, which is somewhat odd to me still given they are out of the playoff race and his injury history. Either way, expect him to play nearly 40 minutes, which helps the odds of him racking up other stats besides points. Since the break he is averaging over six rebounds per game, and against a bad rebounding Kings team, he should hit that mark.
The Kings are loaded with shooters, and we are getting a pretty low bar for Bogdon Bogdanovic to hit. He is averaging 2.8 threes made over the last five games, and his minutes are picking back up. Shooting nearly 40% from three since the break, and a matchup against the Kings is a plus.
Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Clippers
Al Horford OVER 13.5 Points (-116)
There are a few different ways to attack the Clippers defense, and all season long it has been with centers. With Patrick Beverley and the Clippers being better against point guards lately, I do expect Irving to play well, but I love Al Horford in this spot. He has cooled off to pedestrian numbers a bit of late, but since the break he is averaging 15 points per game. Over the last ten games, the Clippers rank 26th in defensive efficiency against opposing centers, and have allowed the 5th most points per game in that span.
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Utah Jazz
Russell Westbrook OVER 25.5 Points (-104)
Of late, Russell Westbrook’s scoring has gone up, and his assists have gone down. Now I don’t expect that to be a continuing trend, as Mr. Triple Double needs that average. But, with his shot finally going in at a more consistent rate, we are seeing more field goal attempts per game. He gets the Jazz tonight, who are respectable against the point guard position, but both teams are top 15 in pace. This is a high over/under game that I expect the Thunder duo to be a major part of. Westbrook is averaging 29.6 points per game in the month of March. Over the last ten games, Utah ranks 27th in defensive efficiency against point guards, and I expect Westbrook to come out strong.
