Atlanta Hawks @ New Orleans Pelicans
Trae Young OVER 22.5 Points (-112)
Trae Young continues to his strong second half, where he is averaging 25.3 points per game, compared to 16.9 in the first half. His shot has been dropping, shooting 40% from three, and 45% from the field. He has also torched Western Conference teams this season, averaging 20.6 points per game compared to 17.6 against Eastern Conference teams. New Orleans is a team to target, ranking 27th in in defensive efficiency against opposing point guards. They are also bottom ten in points per game allowed. Both teams are top five in pace, and this game projects to be one of the higher scoring games on the night.
Los Angeles Clippers @ Minnesota Timberwolves
Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 3.5 Assists (-156)
We know Karl-Anthony Towns has been crushing in the second half, averaging 31.4 points per game, and 14.7 rebounds per game. He is also averaging 3.8 assists per game, which is what we are after here. He has hit four or more in four of the last five games, and gets a very enticing matchup against the Clippers, who are allowing the third most assists per game to opposing centers this season. With a usage rate over 30%, and dominating touches on the Timberwolves, I am looking for Towns to have a huge game overall, but also hit the over here.
Sacramento Kings @ Dallas Mavericks
Buddy Hield OVER 20.5 Points (-120)
Going back to the well with Buddy Hield against the Dallas, taking a similar bet from the last time these two met. He is averaging 19.2 points per game over the last five, where he had an eight point game mixed in. He is averaging 28.5 points per game against Dallas in two meetings, which is the most against any team in the league for Hield. No surprise, as Dallas is in the bottom half in points allowed to opposing shooting guards. They are also bottom ten in FG% and 3PT% allowed to them as well. The Kings continue to push a fast pace and bring one of the better scoring offenses to the table each night.
Detroit Pistons @ Denver Nuggets
Paul Millsap OVER 12.5 Points (-112)
Paul Millsap has been quiet the last two games, scoring just 14 total points between the two meetings. The good thing is that Millsap has been playing quality minutes down the stretch. He is averaging over 30 in the last five. Millsap os averaging 15 points per game in the second half, and has been better at home averaging 15.2 points per game. The Pistons are heading their way back east during a tough road stretch, and Denver has a 109 total. They are sizable favorites as well. I am looking for a bounce back game against a depleted Pistons team.
