2025 Men’s French Open Odds, Tennis Picks, Betting Predictions: Alcaraz Or Sinner?
This year’s second men’s Grand Slam will begin on Sunday, May 25, on the clay courts of Stade Roland Garros. Defending French Open champ Carlos Alcaraz looks to tack on a fifth title to his resume in Paris, France. Meanwhile, world No. 1 Jannik Sinner carries over a 14-match Grand Slam winning streak. Unsurprisingly, they’re neck-and-neck on the board. Let’s assess the latest French Open odds at BetMGM and Fanatics.

Bet On Sinner?
The 22-year-old Alcaraz, who ranks world No. 2, is the consensus favorite after defeating Alexander Zverev last year in five sets (6–3, 2–6, 5–7, 6–1, 6–2). Sinner reached the semifinals in last year’s French Open, but was defeated by Alcaraz in five sets. Both have a favorable draw on their respective sides of the bracket, with Alcaraz holding the edge in that regard during the first week of the tournament.
Any champion on the men’s side other than Alcaraz or Sinner is unlikely, which the market reflects. In the Italian Open final between these two, Sinner notched two break points to win Set 1 but failed to cash in on either of them. TennisViz and Tennis Data Innovations also scored him with his second-lowest forehand Shot Quality (7.6) since the beginning of 2024.
Alcaraz owns the lead in their head-to-head (7-4) and has emerged victorious in four straight against Sinner, dating back to last season.
Will a repeat occur if Sinner advances as expected? I wouldn’t bet on it. Additionally, I don’t expect Alcaraz to deliver the same efficiency he showcased versus Sinner in Rome. Considering the minimal difference between them compared to the French Open betting odds, I recommend wagering on Sinner at +200 if you’re planning on placing a bet.
Good luck with your bets on French Open odds!
