Josh Allen Over 2.5 Passing Touchdowns
Josh Allen has been slinging the ball all season long. In last week’s victory against the Washington Football Team, the Bills quarterback threw for over 350 yards and 4 touchdowns. In the past two weeks, Josh Allen has thrown the ball 76 times. The Buffalo Bills prioritize their passing game and with the Texans struggling on offense, Josh Allen should get a ton of opportunities to touchup the Houston defense.
Cole Beasley Over 5.5 receptions made
Cole Beasley put up a typical Cole Beasley stat line last Sunday, hauling in 11 receptions for 98 yards on 13 targets. In two out of three games this season, the Bills wideout has been targeted 13 times by Josh Allen. Beasley typically gains most of his receptions through quick slants and has been a great option for Josh Allen this season. With Josh Allen throwing the ball as much as he does, I would be surprised if Beasley doesn’t finish the game with more than 5.5 receptions.
Davis Mills Under 32.5 Passing Attempts
With Tyrod Taylor out of the lineup due to injury, Davis Mills stepped in for the Texans and got his first career start last week. against the Carolina Panthers. Mills finished the game completing 19 out of 28 passes for a touchdown. In that game, five running backs were used for a total of 17 rushes. Carolina has one of the best defenses in the NFL this season and has allowed a total of 195 rushing yards allowed through three games. I expect that the Texans will rush the ball more against the Texans this week, taking away some opportunities for Mills to throw more than 32 times.
Brandin Cooks Over 70.5 Receiving Yards
Brandin Cooks had himself a night in Week 3 against the Carolina Panthers. The Texans wide receiver finished the game with 9 receptions on 11 targets for 112 yards. Cooks is having a very productive year hauling in 322 yards in just three games this season. Cooks is currently third in the league in receiving yards and has produced over 70 yards in each game this season. With a new quarterback taking over for the Texans, Davis Mills seems to have found his favorite receiver in Brandin Cooks and I’d expect the ball to be thrown his way more often than not against the Bills defense. The Bills have one of the better pass defenses in the league, but Cooks has proven to be a huge threat this season and will definitely be getting a lot of looks from Davis Mills.
