Indianapolis Colts vs. Minnesota Vikings Player Prop Picks
The Indianapolis Colts visit the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Colts were on bye last week, but lost the week before in a blowout. This should be an interesting matchup overall. Let’s take a look at some prop bets that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.
Dalvin Cook Over 68.5 Rushing Yards
Dalvin Cook is the most consistent part of the Vikings this year outside of Justin Jefferson. He has 213 carries, 950 rushing yards, and eight rushing touchdowns on the year. He’s also hit over this number in 9 of the 13 games that the Vikings have played in. He’s been very good for the Vikings this year and someone they can count on every game. The Colts allow 126 rushing yards a game, which is a decent matchup for Cook. He should also get this number just due to the volume of touches he’ll see in this game. Take this bet because of the volume and defensive matchup for Cook. He should be great in this game because of those factors as the bell cow running back for the Vikings.
Jonathan Taylor Over 81.5 Rushing Yards
Jonathan Taylor has had an up and down year this year. He has 192 carries, 861 rushing yards, and four rushing touchdowns on the year. He also hit over this number in 5 of the 10 games he’s played in for the Colts this year. He needs to play better for the Colts, but he’s still a great running back. The Vikings allow 117 rushing yards a game which is a decent matchup for Taylor. He should continue to see a high volume of touches because of how bad the the Colts passing attack has been this year. Take this bet because of the volume aspect, and that Taylor has been and will continue to be the best source of offense for the Colts the rest of the season. Taylor is an MVP-caliber player, so hopefully he can get back to that level in this game and to finish out the season for the Colts.
Justin Jefferson Over 93.5 Receiving Yards
Justin Jefferson probably cemented himself as the best wide receiver in the NFL this season. He has 99 receptions, 1500 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns on the year. He’s also hit over this number in 9 of the 13 games that the Vikings have played in. He’s been nothing short of unbelievable this year and has been the ultimate weapon in the receiving corps for the Vikings. The Colts allow 204 passing yards a game, which will be a very tough matchup for the Vikings. Jefferson should still see a big uptick in targets in this game regardless of the defense. Take this bet because While the defense should be a very tough matchup, Jefferson is still good enough to get this over with how many targets he’ll see in this game.
