Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans Player Props (9/26/21)

This matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans will mark the first inter-divisional game for either team so far in the 2021 season. Both the Colts and the Titans will be desperate for an early win in the AFC South, as it is unlikely the Jacksonville Jaguars or Houston Texans will be competitive enough to win the division. The Tennessee Titans are favored by 4.5 points in this game; however, anything can happen between these two struggling teams. We will be taking a look at some exciting player props in this article, and you will be able to search for others using our player prop search bar.

Derrick Henry o100.5 Rushing Yards

Derrick Henry is coming off a monstrous game against the Seattle Seahawks that saw him rushing for 182 yards on 35 attempts. We will see a similar volume from Henry in this game as the Colts should struggle mightily. Historically, Henry runs all over the Colts; he averages six (6) yards per rushing attempt against them. At that rate, he will just need 17 carries to hit the over here, and I anticipate around 25-30 carries for him in this bout.

Michael Pittman Jr. o4.5 Receptions

Michael Pittman had a breakout performance in Week 2 when he caught eight passes for 123 yards in a narrow loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have one of the best defenses in the NFL, and Pittman still looked like a true WR1 in that matchup. Pittman was Carson Wentz’s guy, especially when Wentz was feeling the pressure. While I don’t think he will have 123 yards this week, he should have 5-8 receptions with relative ease as the Colts will probably be playing from behind and need to put the ball in the air.

First Touchdown Scorer: Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry will see heavy volume early and often against this surprisingly weak Indianapolis Colts defense. If Henry can break off a run or get a few touches in the red zone early on, this should be a reasonably straightforward player prop. Henry has had an unbelievable track record against the Colts, averaging 6.0 yards per carry in those ten games.

Ryan Tannehill u32.5 Passing Attempts

Ryan Tannehill has thrown a ton over the first two games totaling 40 attempts against the Seattle Seahawks and 35 attempts against the Arizona Cardinals. The critical thing to remember about these games, though, is the game script favored Tannehill throwing a substantial amount because the Titans had to throw to keep up. Under normal circumstances, I don’t see the Titans throwing the ball near as much, especially when they will just run Derrick Henry into the ground against the Colts.

Zach Pascal Anytime TD Scorer

Surprisingly, Zach Pascal has been a “regular” in the endzone. Through two games with the Indianapolis Colts, Pascal has already secured three touchdowns! He is one of Carson Wentz’s favorite red-zone targets. Assuming that Wentz will suit up after he sprained both of his ankles last week, Pascal scoring a touchdown feels inevitable. Surprisingly, Wentz seems to be leaning towards being available for this crucial matchup against the Titans. If he does play, consider this player prop.
