NFL Divisional Round Same Game Parlay – Jaguars vs. Chiefs
My favorite player prop for the Jaguars vs. Chiefs game is centered around Travis Kelce. I played his receiving yardage prop over 79.5. He went under that number in five of seven games to close out the regular season, but he’s a dominant playoff performer.
Kelce has averaged over 86 receiving yards in his 15 career playoff games, and he’s over 95 yards in six straight playoff games. But why stop there? Kelce had 92+ yards in eight of his games this year and is averaging 109.8 receiving yards over his last six playoff games. Let’s take Kelce at 100+ yards for +152 odds.
The Jaguars are a great matchup for tight ends as they rank 32nd in DVOA against the position and allow the second-most yards per reception to tight ends. That’s mostly due to poor coverage from linebackers Foyesade Oluokun and rookies Devin Lloyd and Chad Muma, but safety Andre Cisco has also been vulnerable.
Last week, we saw Gerald Everett and Donald Parham combine for 132 receiving yards against the Jaguars, and that was far from an anomaly. In two games against the Titans this season, Austin Hooper and rookie Chigoziem Okonkwo combined for a whopping 193 total receiving yards.
In the Chiefs’ regular season matchup against the Jaguars, Kelce finished with six catches for 81 yards. Coming off the bye week, I expect Kelce to be fresh and ready to rock. The Chiefs will lean on him as much as possible given the gravity of the playoff environment.
In addition to Kelce’s receiving yardage prop, I like him to score a touchdown in this game. You’re paying some juice on the touchdown prop at -140, but the juice is worth the squeeze. Kelce led all receivers with 30 red-zone targets this season and ranked second with 12 touchdowns this year.
We’ll wrap it up with the Chiefs Moneyline in this spot. At -500 odds, we’re not getting a ton of value, but it does take our SGP from +251 to +325. If Kelce is producing the way I’m writing about here, it’s difficult to imagine the Chiefs losing. As it stands, they’re coming off their bye week and playing in one of the toughest home atmospheres in the league.
All told, we’re looking at an exciting three-leg player prop with plenty of correlation:
- Travis Kelce 100+ Receiving Yards (+152)
- Travis Kelce Anytime Touchdown (-140)
- Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline (-500)
Full SGP Odds: +325 ($10 wins $32.59)
