Bettor Cashes Huge Ticket on Jets QB

When Jets starting QB Zach Wilson went down with an injury last week, expectations for New York began dropping even lower. The team had suffered a 54-13 thrashing by the division rival New England Patriots and were forced to put in young passer Mike White. The QB, who played college ball at Western Kentucky, had never started a game in his career, and had to face a red-hot Cincinnati Bengals team on Sunday. White ended up having a day for the ages, throwing for 405 yards and three touchdowns in a major upset win. With two shaky defenses, either Daniel Jones or Patrick Mahomes had the opportunity to air it out, but the top passer on the night was Mahomes with 275 yards.

Needless to say, the numbers will probably shift for passing leaders quite a bit in this upcoming slate of games. White and the Jets face a short week, squaring off with the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday Night Football. He might have a bit more of a difficult time this week, as the Colts are allowing just 243.6 passing yards per game. Time will tell if another bettor sees a big payday thanks to Mike White’s arm.
