Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals Player Prop Picks

The Kansas City Chiefs visit the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13 of the 2022-23 NFL Season. The Chiefs are coming off an easy win last week, while the Bengals won a nail-biter. This should be an interesting matchup because it’s a playoff rematch when the Bengals knocked the Chiefs out last year. Let’s take a look at some props that make the most sense for this game on Sunday.

Patrick Mahomes Over 308.5 Passing Yards

Patrick Mahomes has been incredible this year and is the MVP front-runner too. He has 3,585 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions, and he has a 66% completion percentage on the year. He has also hit over this number in 7 of the 11 games that the Chiefs have played in. There’s an argument that he’s having his best year so far and it’s after Tyreek Hill left too. The Bengals allow 227 passing yards a game, which is going to be a very difficult matchup for Mahomes. Take this bet because Mahomes has been consistent all year and the way the Chiefs offense runs, he’s going to get his passing yards regardless. This could be a game where he just cements his MVP status even more that he already has.

Joe Burrow Over 297.5 Passing Yards

Joe Burrow has been very good this year even with the injury to Ja’Marr Chase. He has 3,160 passing yards, 23 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions, and he has a 68% completion percentage on the year. He also gets Chase back this this week which will up his numbers a ton this weekend. He has also hit over this number in only 4 of the 11 games that the Bengals have played in. The Chiefs allow 256 passing yards a game which is a very good matchup for Burrow. Take this bet because of the defensive matchup being very good for Burrow and that Chase will be back in this game, which is an added boost. Burrow should continue to get better now that the team around him is getting healthy. This season mirrors how the Bengals were last year too.

Travis Kelce Over 83.5 Receiving Yards

Travis Kelce has been incredible for the Chiefs this year. He has 73 receptions, 912 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns on the year. He’s hit over this number in 6 of the 12 games that the Chiefs have played in this year. He’s cemented himself as the best tight end in the NFL and one of the best receiving options in the NFL overall too. The Bengals have a decent pass defense and allow 227 passing yards a game on the year, which will be a tough matchup for Kelce. Take this bet because Travis Kelce has been very consistent for the Chiefs, even with the revolving door of wide receivers that have played for Kansas City this year. Kelce is a matchup nightmare and expect the Bengals to have a very hard time against him like most other teams the Chiefs have played this year.
