Patrick Mahomes Under 302.5 Pass Yards
As I mentioned, Mahomes hasn’t looked quite like himself this year. His stats, of course, are well above average, but the QB needs to keep it easy on the game-changing turnovers. He’ll want a big comeback this week, and it comes against an Eagles defense that just let Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott toss three TDs with ease. However, Mahomes won’t pass for over 300 yards because he likely won’t need to. I see the Chiefs getting an early lead here and running the rock to leave with a much-needed W.
Jalen Hurts Pass + Rush Yards Over 293.5
This is the type of defense Hurts needs to face right now. The QB has been pretty good on paper this season, but will need to fire on all cylinders to keep up with the Chiefs. The mobile passer puts up numbers against bad defenses. Last week, he had 326 through the air alone against a sub-par Cowboys defense. Kansas City is allowing 430 yards per game so far this season. Hurts will run and pass early and often to try and keep up with the Chiefs offense.
Clyde Edwards-Helaire Over 58.5 Rush Yards
A costly Clyde Edwards-Helaire fumble lost the Chiefs a game a few weeks ago. It looks like that mistake didn’t go to his head, as he came back with 100 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in a close loss last week. He’s got a great opportunity for a big game against the Eagles here. Philadelphia just let the Cowboys gain 160 rushing yards in a big primetime win. I expect the Chiefs to run it with Edwards-Helaire often, even if it’s just to control the clock.
DeVonta Smith Over 3.5 Receptions
Throughout three games this season, Eagles wideout DeVonta Smith has not been spectacular. The Heisman-winning receiver only has eleven catches for 115 yards and a touchdown so far this season. I believe that will start changing with this game. The Chiefs defense has not been able to defend receivers this year, allowing 297 yards through the air every game. Smith will have opportunities to get open, and he’ll get some looks from Hurts in this game. Take Smith to go over his total in this possible breakout game.
