Las Vegas Raiders Vs. Los Angeles Rams Player Prop Picks

A Thursday Night Football matchup between the Raiders and Rams sounded more appealing before the season, but with these teams having a combined 8-16 record, there aren’t high stakes to get excited about. However, we can add excitement in the player props department. You can use the Raiders vs. Rams player prop search tool above to compare odds from different sportsbooks. Let’s get to work.

Josh Jacobs Under 90.5 Rushing Yards (-115 PointsBet)

My favorite player prop in this game won’t be popular for some, but it’s fading one of the best running backs in the NFL. Jacobs has gone over this line in three straight games, averaging 160 rushing yards per game over that span, but the line here tells us a lot.

Jacobs has actually only gone over this number in six of his twelve games this season, and he went under 80 yards in the games where he missed, averaging just 63 rushing yards per game in those outings.

Entering this game, Jacobs is dealing with both calf and quadriceps injuries that have limited him in practice this week. While he’s still expected to play, Jacobs likely won’t be at 100%, particularly on a short week after his heavy workload against the Chargers.

The Rams also present a particularly difficult matchup. They rank top five in DVOA, success rate, and EPA against the run, and they rank third in tackling per PFF. Bobby Wagner headlines their run defense as PFF’s highest-graded linebacker this season.

Foster Moreau Over 30.5 Receiving Yards (-120 DraftKings) and Anytime Touchdown (+260 DraftKings)

With Hunter Renfrow and Darren Waller out with injuries, Foster Moreau has become a more important part of the offense, and he has 30+ receiving yards in six straight games. His usage has been consistent as he’s averaged over 5 targets per game over the last seven weeks.

Moreau has averaged 1.18 yards per route run, and he should have some success against the Rams who are allowing the seventh-highest yards per reception to tight ends. The Rams play zone coverage at the highest rate in the league, which boosts tight ends.

The Rams are also tied for the ninth-most receiving touchdowns allowed to tight ends, and Moreau has five red zone targets over the past four games. Moreau has only scored twice this year, but he’s due for some positive regression in that department.

Tutu Atwell Over 24.5 Receiving Yards (-115 DraftKings)

The Rams might finally be figuring out how to utilize former second-round pick Tutu Atwell. He saw five targets last week, which was a season-high, and he’s averaged 37.4 receiving yards per game over the last five weeks. In two of those, he has 50+ yards.

Sean McVay admitted that Atwell “probably should have gotten more opportunities earlier in the season,” and I believe he’ll see more involvement moving forward. The Raiders rank 30th in pass defense DVOA, so this should be a good matchup for him, regardless of who is under center for the Rams.
