Las Vegas Raiders Vs. New Orleans Saints Player Prop Picks
One of the most intriguing matchups on Sunday is a likely winner-go-home game between the Raiders and Saints, as the loser will have a steep uphill battle to make the playoffs. With one of the highest over-under totals of the week, the player prop market provides plenty of value to explore. You can use the player prop search tool above to find the best odds for the wager you’d like to place for the Raiders vs. Saints game. Let’s get to work.
Davante Adams Over 83.5 Receiving Yards (-110 BetMGM)
While Davante Adams has been a bit hit or miss in his first season in Las Vegas, he’s gone over 83.5 receiving yards in each of his last two games. With Derek Carr, Josh McDaniels, and Adams all working towards getting on the same page in their first year together, their chemistry will continue to improve along with Adams’ success.
This week, Adams faces a New Orleans pass defense that’s ranked 22nd in passing success rate and 29th in EPA allowed. The Saints also rank 24th in DVOA against WR1s, and that will only be worse this week after Marshon Lattimore was ruled out of this matchup. With such a high over-under and a juicy matchup, Adams could have 100 yards and two scores in this game.
Alvin Kamara Over 4.5 Receptions (-128 Caesars)
Death, taxes, and the Alvin Kamara receptions prop. I’ve been on this one in every game that Andy Dalton has started, and while the sportsbooks are finally starting to catch on, I’ll drink the extra juice here given the juicy matchup. The Raiders rank 23rd in DVOA against running backs and they allowed Dameon Pierce and Rex Burkhead to combine for nine catches last week.
The Saints are sticking with Dalton as their starter, and it’s the right move as he’s been much more effective this season. Dalton has an aDOT of 9.3 yards while Winston is up at 12.0 yards, and that benefits Kamara as a short-area receiver. While Michael Thomas and Jarvis Landry remain out, there isn’t much consistent pass-catching outside of Kamara and Chris Olave to speak of.
Chris Olave Anytime Touchdown Scorer (+165 Caesars)
The line discrepancy on this prop is crazy. Caesars is hanging it at +165 while most other sportsbooks have it at +125 or +130. BetMGM even has it at -110. This is a great example of how important it is to shop lines. Olave has only scored two touchdowns this year, but he did score in two straight games prior to last week.
The Saints haven’t been in the red zone a ton this year, and they’ve tended to run the ball more in that area, but Olave had a red-zone target in four straight games prior to last week. The Raiders have allowed 2.2 passing touchdowns per game, the third-most in the NFL, and they rank 30th in red-zone defense. I love this value on Olave to find paydirt in what looks to be one of the highest-scoring games of the week.
