Los Angeles Dodgers 2019 Odds to Win (FanDuel Sportsbook)
The Los Angeles Dodgers have six World Series titles (one as the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1955), with their most recent coming in 1988. After their 1988 title, the Dodgers wouldn’t make it back to the World Series until 2017, where they lost to the Houston Astros in seven games. The following year, the Dodgers returned to the World Series, only to lose to the Boston Red Sox in five games. The Dodgers have 17 N.L. West titles, including the last six. The Dodgers will be looking not only for their seventh straight N.L. West title, but their third straight trip to the World Series. Perhaps this time they can get their first World Series title in 31 years.

Los Angeles Dodgers Outlook
The Los Angeles Dodgers are the most complete team in the National League, maybe in all of baseball. Their starting pitching has been excellent and is led by 3x N.L. Cy Young Winner Clayton Kershaw. The rest of the pitching staff, bullpen included, has been following Kershaw’s lead. The Dodgers pitching staff is near the top in baseball in all major categories.
The Dodgers offense is just as deadly as their pitching staff. Led by Cody Bellinger, who is batting .386 with 48 RBIs (both of which lead the Majors), the Dodgers offense is scoring 5.4 runs per game. The Dodgers are seventh in baseball with 81 home runs this season. An offense this good paired up with a pitching staff that is playing just as good, if not better, makes for a dangerous team. The Dodgers are built to make a strong playoff run and contend for a World Series for a third-straight year.
Are the Los Angeles Dodgers A Good Bet?
-1200 to win the N.L. West doesn’t provide much profit potential. A $1,200 bet to win $100 usually isn’t a bet worth taking. In this case, when there are still more than 100 games of baseball left, anything can happen. The Dodgers have the second biggest division lead in baseball at the moment (the Twins have a 10-game lead in the A.L. Central). While they should win the N.L. West, and will probably do so comfortably, -1200 doesn’t leave much room for profit. There are too many variables at this point in the season to take this bet with this low of a payout.
+185 to win the N.L. is a bet that is more worth its value. The FanDuel Sportsbook is giving the Dodgers the best chance of any team in baseball to win their league (Houston Astros are currently +190 to win the A.L.). At this point in the season there only seems to be two teams who pose a serious threat to the Dodgers, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Chicago Cubs. At this payout, the Dodgers to win the National League is a smart bet and does provide decent value as well.
+500 to win the World Series for the best team in the National League is certainly a bet worth taking. Only the Astros have better odds (+450). The only other N.L. team in the top six odds to win the World Series is the Phillies (+1000). The Dodgers are in the top ten in baseball in nearly every major category, both offense and defense. They are a complete team that is built for a World Series run. Every pitcher that has made a start for the Dodgers this season has an ERA lower than 3.68. Add in baseball’s third-best offense and you have a team nobody wants to see in October. The Dodgers+500 to win the World Series is a great bet with great value.
