Manning Family Teaming With Caesars Sportsbook

The Manning legacy is by far one of the most notorious in sports. In particular, the brothers Peyton and Eli Manning have provided us with no shortage of unforgettable moments. Peyton’s career started as a hyped No. 1 draft pick, saw plenty of record-breaking stat years along the way, and ended with a Super Bowl win over the Carolina Panthers. Eli, on the other hand, is best known for numerous incredible postseason wins, especially his two Super Bowl victories against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Now, the two have transitioned into media stars with their own popular game cast of Monday Night Football. And, as you’d expect with anyone in the sports world, betting is next. Here’s what you have to know about the Manning family’s transition to sports betting culture.

Caesars Sportsbook Drafts The Mannings

Caesars Sportsbook has just found its newest group of brand ambassadors. The Manning family, namely Peyton, Eli, Archie, and Cooper Manning, have officially signed on with Caesars. The four will be featured prominently in media surrounding the sportsbook, including advertisements and promotions. Additionally, the family will be involved in an undisclosed manner for specialized member experiences for members of Caesars Sportsbook rewards programs. Major details of the deal have not been released yet, such as payment numbers. There’s some suggestion that the family will opt for an equity package instead of a standard paycheck, similar to Drew Brees’ contract with PointsBet Sportsbook.

The Mannings Are Joining Good Company

Peyton, Eli, and crew are joining a strong group of Caesars Sportsbook ambassadors. The most well-known of these celebrities is comedian J.B. Smoove, who appears in advertisements and promotions as Caesar. Trey Wingo, formerly of ESPN, signed up with Caesars Sportsbook this previous summer, with former coworker Kenny Mayne following suit not too long afterward. There’s even been some speculation of Caesars signing on another major ESPN personality, NFL insider Adam Schefter, when his contract with the network expires in 2022.

Interestingly, the Trey Wingo connection could be a clue to what other roles the Mannings will have for Caesars. Wingo hosts “Trey’s Trends,” an exclusive show on the official Caesars Sportsbook YouTube channel. Is it that out of the realm to think that the Mannings would produce their own content for the sportsbook? After all, both Peyton and Eli have no shortage of media experience between the Manning Cast on ESPN2 and their ESPN+ shows “Peyton’s Places” and Eli’s Places.”

Not the First Caesars-Manning Connection

While the newfound deal between the Mannings and Caesars might not be too surprising, you might be interested to know that this isn’t even the first time the family has had a connection with the sportsbook. Caesars Entertainment is actually an official partner of father Archie Manning’s sports bar “Manning’s” in New Orleans, Louisiana. The co-president of Caesars Digital, Chris Holdren, believes this connection made the brand ambassadorship a natural choice. The popular bar and restaurant is located nearby the New Orleans Harrah’s Casino. While we have yet to see what the full partnership will entail, it won’t be long before we see the Mannings and Caesars Sportsbook team up.
