Memorial Tournament Odds & Golf DFS Picks: 4 Longshots, Including Si Woo Kim
The PGA Tour’s best have congregated together for yet another Signature Event, as this week’s festivities bring us to Muirfield Village for the 2025 Memorial Tournament. Last week’s PGA Tour golf DFS picks article identified top-six finisher Ryo Hisatsune as a deep sleeper. We’ll look to keep that momentum going into this week.
Jack Nicklaus’ renowned Muirfield Village Golf Club has famously produced eclectic leaderboards that have crowned everyone from Scottie Scheffler to William McGirt over the last decade. It is a stern test from tee to green that may reward a winner at single digits under par. That calls for premiums on Scrambling, Bogey Avoidance, and performance on comp courses that feature similar length (7,500+ yards), thick rough, and firm and fast Bentgrass greens.
In this article, we’ll look for diamonds in the rough ahead of the 2025 Memorial Tournament.
Memorial Tournament Odds
Muirfield Village: Course Introduction
Known affectionately as “Jack’s Place,” Muirfield Village is the crowning achievement of Jack Nicklaus’ post-playing career. Undergoing an ambitious renovation project in 2020, Muirfield Village Golf Club now features state-of-the-art drainage systems and new Bentgrass turf from fairway to green, which allows the course to withstand the harsh weather conditions that come to Dublin, Ohio. The property at Muirfield Village is stunning and is one of the most picturesque venues to host a PGA Tour event each year.
This course is designed to penalize wayward drives with its thick rough throughout and requires elite touch around the greens to remain in contention. In short, players with elite iron play and a proven track record for scrambling in difficult conditions in long and thick rough have historically risen to the top of the leaderboard here.
It’s also a good week to reference the comp course history on recent major venue tracks, as Muirfield Village is as tough a task as most recent major championship venues, regularly rewarding a winner at single digits under par.

Memorial Tournament: Golf DFS Picks & Longshot Bets
To identify “value” any given week on the PGA Tour, I find it’s best first to understand the consensus key stat profile. Then, take a stance on the elements of the tournament that may go overlooked. At the Memorial Tournament, Recent Form, SG: APP, and Event History are consensus key areas factored into each player’s price.
From a golf DFS picks perspective, I will take a stance primarily on the importance of Comp Course History and Approach Proximity from over 175 yards. These two areas, in particular, have proven to show a sticky trend of repeat contenders, so I’ll look to whittle down my player pool to those with multiple high finishes at Muirfield Village in the past and who have demonstrated a strong fit on comp Jack Nicklaus designs earlier this season.
Below, find my favorite value PGA golf fantasy picks and longshots for the 2025 Memorial Tournament. Stats pulled across the Last 36 Rounds unless otherwise noted. Their odds of winning the event are also shown.
The key to scoring at Muirfield Village above all else is top-tier approach play, as the generous fairways have historically leveled the playing field off the tee and rewarded players with precision to land on the correct landing areas of these undulated greens. While it’s been a volatile season for Bhatia, he has shown that when he’s on, he can separate from the field with his irons alone.
A winner in each of the last three seasons, Bhatia has knocked on the door often in 2025 as well, with three top-10 finishes already, including a T3 at THE PLAYERS. He recorded his best start since TPC Sawgrass at last week’s Charles Schwab Challenge, finishing T22 and ranking 13th in the field in SG: Ball Striking. If Bhatia can continue to carry that ball-striking form with him into the Memorial, he presents one of the highest ceilings of any value player in his price range.
Best of luck if you choose to roster these Memorial Tournament golf DFS picks!
Rickie Fowler:
It’s been a long time since I’ve felt compelled to play Rickie Fowler, but a hot stretch of form and return to a longstanding comfort course may just put that to an end. Fowler now has top-16 finishes in two of his last three starts between the Truist Championship and Charles Schwab Challenge, which are a credit to his severely improved ball-striking and putting.
At Muirfield Village, Fowler will be making his 17th career appearance this week, including eight top-25s and four top-10s over that span. This spurt of form is a bit too recent to really pop in a stat model, but if Fowler is about to catch a similar wave of form as his 2023 Ryder Cup season, he stands out as one of the top value options available this week.
Bud Cauley:
The renaissance 2025 season continues for Bud Cauley, who picked up his fourth top-6 finish over his last seven starts at last week’s Charles Schwab Challenge. Cauley looks the part of a discounted Daniel Berger in this field, as both players have sustainably gained across all four Strokes Gained categories despite their lack of driving distance.
This will be Cauley’s first trip back to Muirfield Village since 2020, but he showed his upside on these grounds with a career-best T9 finish in 2019. My favorite low-end play in fantasy formats this week, Cauley ranks No. 14 overall in my model, with top-10 ranks in Recent Form (SG: TOT L36) and SG: Putting.

Not exactly a “longshot” per se, but value is all relative when it comes to these limited field events. I expect Si Woo to be a popular pick on betting cards and fantasy lineups this week, and for good reason. He’s been a model of consistency at Muirfield Village, finishing top-20 in each of his last five appearances, including a career-best 4th place finish here in 2023.
He’s caught fire of late as well, with four top-20 finishes over his last six starts. He’s leaned on the strengths of his approach play and short game to sustain this hot stretch, as he ranks top-15 in each category over the last 36 rounds. Si Woo also surprisingly ranks No. 2 in the field in Par-5 Scoring, a crucial stat at Muirfield Village, which offers few birdie opportunities outside of the par-5s.
Ranking No. 11 overall in my model, Si Woo will be a fixture on my betting card and fantasy lineups this week.
