Missouri Sports Betting Kick-Off Before 5 Kansas City Chiefs Games
According to our friends at Legal Sports Report, Missouri sports betting will open its legal market on Dec. 1. The market is projected to generate upward of $560 million annually, with a portion of the revenue going to public education initiatives across the state. To boot, the Missouri Gaming Commission announced that the sports betting application period is open for business.
With this news in mind, residents in the Show-Me State will have the opportunity to wager on the final five regular-season games for the Kansas City Chiefs. Let’s inspect these look-ahead NFL odds before analyzing the Chiefs’ betting outlook.

Missouri Sports Betting: Chiefs Schedule Analysis
Patrick Mahomes and Co. are scheduled for at least eight primetime or standalone games, including two of their matchups listed above against the Texans and Broncos. Since 2014, teams with six or more standalone games have failed to meet their win total by an average of 0.60 wins. To make matters worse, one of their “home” games will take place in Brazil. It’s their regular-season opener against the Chargers.
Granted, Andy Reid’s teams have a history of exceeding expectations in improbable fashion. Last season, Kansas City went over its win total (11.5) with 15 regular-season victories, five coming by three points or fewer and 10 by seven points or fewer. With Mahomes under center, the Chiefs also finished 5-0 in the division with a four-point average margin of victory.
Some bettors will consider these numbers a byproduct of having a Hall-of-Fame coach and quarterback. However, I’m unwilling to believe that Kansas City’s performance in one-score games is repeatable. Will the Chiefs finally take a step back? Couple their standalone schedule and the possible negative variance ahead. The Broncos and Chargers, their division rivals and potential AFC contenders, could both greatly benefit.
