MLB Opening Day Betting Odds
Red Sox Vs. Yankees & Mariners Vs. Twins Has Been Postponed Due To Weather
Brewers At Cubs Betting Odds
Another interdivisional rivalry starts us off on Opening Day in the NL Central. Corbin Burnes, your reigning Cy Young winner, squares off against Kyle Hendricks. The Cubs right-hander has had a rough Spring and will need to hope that is behind him. The weather is going to be wet here as well, so be sure to keep an eye on this one. Milwaukee takes a small advantage on the moneyline as they are expected to start off 2022 with a win. Wrigley wind is already in full effect this year, bringing the total up to double-digits.
Mets At Nationals Betting Odds
Patrick Corbin makes the start for the Washington Nationals, while New York was Max Scherzer tentatively scheduled, but that could change due to a small hamstring issue. It will now be Tylor Megill pitching for the Mets. New York went out and spent this offseason adding to their lineup, but the rotation is a big question mark with Jacob deGrom starting the season on the IL. Corbin has struggled dating back to 2020, after a couple of rough years, he will look to try and turn it around.
Guardians At Royals Betting Odds
Yes, the year is 2022, as Zack Greinke makes an Opening Day start for the Kansas City Royals. Shane Bieber starts opposite side of him and gives the Guardians a slight edge on the road. Cleveland are small favorites and Bieber is a Cy Young favorite this season. While both offenses have lessened over the last few years, both boast some exciting talent that is worth watching.
Pirates At Cardinals Betting Odds
Our first heavy favorite of the day belongs to the St. Louis Cardinals, as they are home to the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Buccos expect to be basement-dwellers in the NL Central this season, so no surprise to see them start as a massive underdog. However, St. Louis might be overrated a bit, so tread lightly as we are early in the year figuring these teams out. 28-year-old JT Brubaker will make the start for Pittsburgh, while Adam Wainwright makes a familiar Opening Day start.
Reds At Braves Betting Odds
The Braves will look to defend their title starting off at home against Cincinnati, who showed this offseason they have zero ambition to contend for one. With that being said, Atlanta are massive home favorites with Max Fried on the mound. The Reds will turn to Tyler Mahle.
Astros At Angels Betting Odds
This is certainly a game to tune into with Shohei Ohtani on the mound taking on the Astros. Los Angeles added some nice pieces this offseason and they can show the Astros they are going to have company this year. Ohtani on the mound is must-see TV and he is a small favorite on the road in this one. Framber Valdez will make the start for Houston. Valdez is coming off a terrific 2021 season, boasting a 3.14 ERA over 22 games and just a shade under a strikeout per inning rate.
Padres At Diamondbacks Betting Odds
Yu Darvish makes the start for San Diego as they look to start 2022 in a better spot after a disappointing run in 2021. Health played a part and so far it has not been kind with Fernando Tatis Jr. set to miss the beginning part of the season. Darvish will look to limit a pretty limited offense in Arizona, while Madison Bumgarner is more name value than anything at this stage in his career. While Tatis is out, the Padres offense still have a few bats that hit southpaws well.
