NASCAR Teaming Up With Fubo Sportsbook

There’s plenty of competition in the sports betting market right now. Even the most casual fans are aware of some of the major sports betting platforms out there such as DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM. Other sportsbooks such as PointsBet, WynnBET, and Caesars Sportsbook are desperately trying to get a leg up on the competition. And new sportsbooks are popping up all the time, as seen with the recent launches of the Sports Illustrated Sportsbook and MaximBet. With the need to stand out, sportsbooks have to do everything possible to get ahead, especially when it comes to partnerships. Let’s take a look at how one new sportsbook is making moves to get ahead in this competitive field.

Fubo Sportsbook Partners With NASCAR

FuboTVfuboTV is getting into the sports betting game, and it’s going all in. The company is planning on releasing its own sports betting platform, Fubo Sportsbook, by the end of the year. And, even though the platform hasn’t officially launched yet, the company is making moves. It’s just been announced that Fubo Sportsbook has struck a partnership with NASCAR and will be an authorized gaming operator for the league.

The deal looks to be mutually beneficial. NASCAR will advertise Fubo Sportsbook in a number of ways, including assets from the track itself, special app additions, and social media promotions. While NASCAR might not have the mainstream popularity of leagues like the NFL or MLB, it’s definitely got its fans.

Fubo Sportsbook Making More Partnerships

The NASCAR deal is big for Fubo Sportsbook, as it’s the platform’s first partnership in professional auto racing. However, it’s not the first deal in professional sports. The sportsbook has already partnered with the New York Jets in the NFL and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA. Trying to get partnerships across numerous sporting leagues is a smart move considering the different fans that will be watching. With numerous deals set in stone already, don’t be surprised if Fubo Sportsbook makes a few more partnerships before the official launch in late 2021.

What Will Fubo Sportsbook Look Like?

With a scheduled launch in Q4 of 2021, Fubo Sportsbook is anticipating a big opening. However, it’s likely not going to be a run-of-he-mill sports betting app. The sportsbook wants to stand out with its interactivity. The Live Sync feature is the sportsbook’s main hook, which is a huge benefit for fuboTV subscribers. Basically, you’ll be able to sync up the app with a number of different viewing platforms, such as Fire TV, Apple TV, and Samsung TV.

This feature alone will be a boon for Fubo Sportsbook, and it’s going to need all the help it can get. Most of the market share is currently taken up by DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM. It was projected in July that FanDuel held 29% of the market share, with DraftKings holding 28.4% and BetMGM closely behind at 21.8%. A lot can happen between now and the official launch, but the smart design of Fubo Sportsbook should shake up the control of the sports betting market.
