Derrick White ($6,300) vs Knicks– Derrick White has been playing great at the point guard position for the Spurs. He comes into this game averaging 14.8 PPG 7.3 APG and 4.0 RPG on 50% shooting in the last 4 games. The Knicks obviously aren’t playing good basketball at the moment and with the way the Spurs are winning games they should be able to handle the Knicks. White does a little bit of it all which makes me want to have him on my roster tonight.
Devin Booker ($8,100) vs Rockets– Booker has quietly picked up his assists numbers this season compared to the past and in the last 5 games for the Suns he is averaging 30 PPG 6.6 APG and 4.8 RPG. With the Suns lack of a true point guard he has been forced into a more play making role of the offense which has been a blessing for fantasy owners. The Rockets haven’t been playing very good D as of late and I expect Booker to exploit that tonight in Houston.
Kelly Oubre Jr. ($5,900) vs Rockets– Oubre continues to impress as the Suns weigh their options if they should sign him long term or not. With the way he has been playing as of late, 20.4 PPG 6.6 RPG on 49.3% from the field it’s going to be hard to justify not keeping him. The Rockets like to run and play iso ball which should play right into Oubre’s game with his steals and ability to score in transition.
Noah Vonleh ($4,900) vs Spurs– To be able to roster Embiid and Booker I had to go cheap in some spot and one of them is here. Vonleh is sub $5,000 tonight but he has been pretty consistent with what he has been able to do fantasy wise. He is putting up 22.9 FPTS per game in the last 4 with 10 PPG and 7.0 RPG. Against the Spurs tonight I’m hoping he can sneak a double-double in tonight but at this price I feel like he is one of the better cheap PF options.
Joel Embiid ($9,900) vs Kings– Embiid hasn’t missed a step since coming back from injury averaging 25.0 PPG 15.5 RPG and 2.5 APG in his first 2 games back. The Kings haven’t been able to play defense all year and with them coming to town on the second game of a back-to-back they won’t be as fresh as they can be. Embiid has the advantage over WCS and pretty much every big man on the Kings roster so I expect him to have a field day tonight.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($4,000) vs Bulls– Shai has had his ups and downs this season but he has started to score the ball better scoring double digits in 6 of his last 7 games. He continues to be in the starting lineup and vs the Bulls tonight who allow the 2ndmost FPTS to opposing guards I can justify rostering him at a very reasonable price of $4,000.
